Hooks Calabash Seafood Buffet

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The food was absolutely TERRIBLE!! The crabs legs were rubbery, the mozzarella sticks were dry, rolls were hard as a rock, blueberries had no flavor, banana pudding was watery. Place doesnt season anything. They said they have tictok butter for the crab legs; well that consists of melted butter and a jar of old bay. Wth?? I have nothing good to say about this place. Avoid at all costs! Everything on the buffet was disgusting. We had 8 ppl in our group; 2 different checks, 4 of the adults and 3 of the children left not feeling well at all. The only reason the other is not sick is because all he ate was cucumbers and pickles. The waitress asked how the food was and I told her multiple times it was terrible and we didn't like it. But she just shook her head and smiled. We will not be returning at all and would appreciate a full refund of all of our checks

Shanel was amazing her warm smile made us feel welcomed. She was so attentive. She made sure we always had hot food from the bar and our glasses were never empty. Overall a great experience.

Dietary restrictions: While cooked well, some of the food could use a little more seasoning. They made seasonings and condiments available at our request.

Wow, what a delicious meal and the service that 17 gave us was some of the best ever. We are only in town for a short while so it was nice to find this gem. I wish I could remember everyone's name to recognize them. Our server, 17, was one of the best wever ever had. Nap time after that me. Thank you.

What wonderful service! 17 was great. She helped us with the menu as we had several questions. She was so patient. She kept out drinks full, ran back and forth several times for us and kept our table clean. I notice a lot of setverodont do that anymore so Ty. We had such a great time.
