1st time in this establishment and have been coming to myrtle beach for years. As soon as we walked in the customers greeted us as well as th bartender. Had so much fun we went back on Monday which was my wife's birthday. The owner was working behind the bar and everyone wished my wife happy birthday. I could sit and talk military with Sargent for hours. Straight up badass. Can't wait to return again. Thx for making out of towners feel welcome. Until we meet again.

I never liked bars, I never went to them cuz I hated them. But when I found Jakes I was very impressed, I've been going there for a long time very regulary and it's amazing. Very friendly and you feel like they are family. 10/10 recommend !

Great place, great people! Nice place to chill without drama. Only downside, eat before you get there or order from one of the great restaurants nearby. They do have really do food.
