⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service and Great Experience!
We had an amazing dining experience thanks to Daphne, and a few others on staff who were exceptionally attentive, polite, and courteous. She took the time to understand what we(all 6 of us) were in the mood for and made excellent recommendations that perfectly matched our appetite. One of us accidentally spilled our food shortly after it was served and within minutes got a complementary replacement...unheard of.
Daphne and team truly elevates the dining experience with their warm personalities and delicious food choices A+ to every One. Highly recommended.

My dad ordered the sausage gravy and biscuit breakfast and the gravy was not good. I don’t know what kind of spice or seasoning was added but it wasn’t good at all. It is definitely not the southern style white gravy we’re used to. We sent it back and he ended up with pancakes and sausage links. I had the chocolate chip pancakes and eggs and they were very good. Service was great!

We were interested to try this restaurant for breakfast. The menu is extensive for breakfast and lunch and has a wide array of choices . We ordered sausage gravy & biscuits, a waffle, and french toast. The gravy was more like a corned beef hash but with sausage—not the normal white breakfast gravy. I had asked the waitress if the gravy was made fresh every day from scratch and she said yes. Homemade biscuits and gravy for our family is a big deal so when we received this order of biscuits and gravy and it was prepared differently than usual breakfast gravy we were disappointed . Perhaps it would be wise and helpful if a description of the biscuits and gravy were listed in detail so a person ordering can anticipate what they are going to be receiving. The waffle was very good & fluffy; the french toast was good but pretty average. The syrup has some maple flavoring and is very good. Our server was great. It was a good experience and the prices were as anticipated.

Our friends who live in the area recommend this restaurant. My family and I went on the weekend.
Staff was super friendly and made my family and I feel very comfortable.
The food was delicious!!! My wife could not stop talking about the chicken and waffles.
Friends bought us a coffee mug that they sell in the restaurant, along with other soviniers.
Plenty of parking is available. Just had to wait approximately 15min to be seated.
Great place to take the family.

Great Breakfast Variety and Friendly Service

We stopped by Johnnie D’s while visiting Myrtle Beach and enjoyed a hearty breakfast. The portions were generous, and the food came out looking just like the pictures — golden onion rings, a classic burger plate, and a full breakfast spread with eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes, and hash browns.

Service was friendly and the restaurant had a casual, welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast platter was especially good — the pancakes were fluffy and the bacon crispy. The burger and fries were excellent.

Prices were reasonable for the area, and the menu had something for everyone. If you’re looking for a good local spot for breakfast or brunch in Myrtle Beach, Johnnie D’s is a solid choice!
