Visited the North Beach location. I wanted to love it unfortunately as soon as my husband went to take a bite he found a super long hair in his pancakes… he is bald so instantly we knew… I ordered and had the red velvet waffle it was good but rather small in my opinion for something you’re spending $15 on a la cart. The young lady who waited on in didn’t really seem like she was having a good day. After we sent back the pancakes we expected a manager to come but no one did. Sadly this was our least favorite and least enjoyable Myrtle Beach eatery during our time.

Spacious, bright with good selection of food items. Huge menu. Early bird specials which include beverage. Service was fast and order was delivered in no time. Worth a second visit.

This was a "don't judge a book by its cover" restaurant. Walking in I wasn't sure about this little place but I am glad we went here! The service was excellent and fast! The food was excellent - my veggie omelet was amazing, grits were perfectly buttery goodness. The pancakes are plate sized as are the waffles! Husband got the Irish Benedict and said the corned beef hash was perfect, one of the best he has ever had (he is super picky about his hash and this one got 2 thumbs up!). This place was clean and bright inside!

Soo I had just gotten my braces tighten before we took the trip.. I'm so glad I found this place cuz everywhere else was jammed back.. I'm could chew but I could every bit of that food and it was amazing.. I will be returning soon

It is what it is. You get 1 chance to impress a new customer. The hostess was just not friendly. Neither was the server of the money handler. I got a thimble full of pancake syrup and asked for more. I can imagine many people have to do that. 3.58 for a crappie cup of coffee. Put some dang syrup on the table like the rest of the world does. Doesn't matter because I'm not going back. I hated to see the owner had been dead a couple of years. There was a good crowd there, so I am in the minority. Bad thing though. I was looking for a new place to eat breakfast. Still looking.
If I had Johnny D’s first we would’ve came here 3 times! The food and atmosphere was phenomenal. Super cute diner and amazing food! I had the Monte Carlo French toast and my bf had the brisket eggs Benedict. Food cooked to PERFECTION. Becky was our server she was so nice and friendly and just made our experience great! Johnny D's Waffles and Benedict's is a charming breakfast diner that exudes a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The food was undeniably delicious, with a special shoutout to their homemade corn beef hash, which was my personal favorite. However, be prepared for prices that are slightly higher than anticipated, though still within reasonable range. Overall, a great spot for a satisfying breakfast with loved ones.

5 stars. Wish we had taken photos of the food. Cinnamon waffle was amazing. And I know people say this but it was not too sweet. Service was very very fast. It was a tiny bit loud. But I could still talk without raising my voice. I can imagine it gets super busy during the summer season so come early.
