First time in and definitely not the last! Our server, I believe her name is Loren, was an absolute joy, very knowledgeable of the menu and on top of her game. Can we talk food? Soft shell crab and a nacho appetizer. Both were fantastic. We had 4 different rolls and were happy with all of them. Wanted the sauces on the side and that’s exactly how it came out. Loren recommended we do the sauces like that bc I didn’t want any sweetness on the rolls. We were informed of trivia night and she asked us to come by and give them a try. We certainly will. I hope I’m close to spelling Loren’s name correctly, if not, I apologize. Oh and when we walked in the door we were immediately greeted with a huge smile, this young lady (didn’t catch her name) made us feel like she was glad we came in today. A great start to a great lunch. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thanks so much.

When We walked up to door there was 2 employees outside. Sushi guy had on gloves while outside, walked back in behind sushi bar with the same gloves on. We keep looking he never changed them, spoiled my sushi craving. We just walked out… Please coach and train employees on cleanliness

We had an amazing dinner! They definitely had some of the best sushi we have had, and the sushi combo was a great deal. Our server Jacob was super friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back when we are in the area!

Had a wonderful date night Stephanie took care of us at the bar very clean fun environment Stephanie was very attentive we had a lot of questions
I was impressed by the extensive menu selection the spicy sashimi salad, jalapeño bombs and the wings were all great the favorite was the Volcano roll actually came out on fire 🔥 We will be back to Broadway for Sushi soon

shouldn’t even be one star, two girls at the front say we couldn’t eat outside because or a “wasp problem” and 10 minutes later they are sitting people outside??? and to mention they started whispering to eachother while we were standing there, there weird wouldn’t recommend

Went to King Kong Sushi in Carolina Forest around 4:00 today (7/16). Was not our first time here. Walked in and was greeted by the hostess who sat us in a booth. We happened to be the only ones in the entire place except for two locals at the bar. There were 2 bartenders, and what seemed to be 2 servers. The one bartender was flirting with 2 guys who walked in right in front of us, the other was oblivious to anyone in the restaurant. The two servers were more interested in eating their meal than checking to see if we were interested in drinks or appetizers. Waited 10 minutes, NOBODY BOTHERED to at least bring 2 glasses of water. We walked out. There’s a reason why nobody but us were in the dining area. The SERVICE SUCKED. First impressions… terrible. Won’t be back. Plenty of other sushi places along the Grand Strand.

Me and my friends craving a mix of hibachi and sushi, so we decided to try this restaurant based on the positive reviews. Upon arrival, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to our table, and we nearly walked out. Fortunately, our server was excellent and provided great service once she arrived.
However, the food did not meet our expectations. The dishes were not served at a hot temperature, and the appetizers, particularly the soup, were overly salty. I ordered the noodle soup, which I found to be extremely spicy—more so than necessary—even though I typically enjoy spicy food. The spice level overpowered the flavor of the broth, making it difficult to enjoy the dish.
I’m not sure if there are different chefs working on different days, as the reviews suggested a better experience than what we had. For us, the food was just so-so.
