Love this place! The service is always great, the lunch special is great value for money and the sushi is the best. There is a large range of options and they don't just stuff roles with cream cheese like other places in town. If you're looking for good sushi, lots of options and a reasonable bill at the end of it.....GO HERE.

Carolina Forest location. Wife and I went there Wednesday for Happy Hour, great sushi and the Happy Hour drinks were made just right. The decor is very warm and modern.The young lady tending bar was friendly and did a great job, bonus her parents are from Pittsburgh area, we will be back.

Green /new staff.Lighting is terrible. I had chicken hibachi, husband ate the shrimp hibachi. Nothing specail.Kids did enjoy the sushi but it came out 10 minutes after our food.Had to ask for napkins,s&p.Chocolate lava cake is your typical pre-fab cake.That took at least 15 minutes. I wasn't

If you are thinking about dining anywhere in the Carolina Forest area, you have definitely found the best spot. We frequently visit King Kong, and we are NEVER disappointed. The service and the food are always consistently amazing. Tonight was no different, and we had the most delightful server, Ashton. He truly made our visit tonight so lovely. My fiance and I came in for his birthday, and we left with bellies full of delicious food, and hearts full because of our outstanding server and all of the other staff. (Also, do yourself a favor and order the crab wontons?)
My first sushi experience and I loved it! The chef was super friendly and informative and they all had a great sense of humor! The food was delicious! And a big bonus, nobody laughed at me since it was my first time and I didn't know how to eat it or use chopsticks lol! Can't wait to do it again.

Wow! I guess they moved to a new location in the plaza or did serious renovation/ business model change. Gone is the cozy dark upscale feel. In with cavernous fluorescent lighting and fast food vibe. It's a truly sad loss for our community. I'm so disappointed.

We went to King Kong and were lucky enough to have Ireland as our waitress. Ireland did an awesome job and made sure our drinks were always topped off and that we had everything we needed at all times. The sushi was awesome as always!

King Kong Sushi is a wonderful clean restaurant with polite staff a great lunch special. However, I do not advise ordering Togo. Over the phone, the server upsold me on a large hibachi plate. I was hoping to have leftovers for the next day. Unfortunately the $28 large hibachi dinner was a smaller portion than what I usually during their lunch special. Quite disappointing, and felt like I was cheated.
