My sister and I met up for lunch. We had planned on going to Tupelo honey because I had my dog with me and I saw they allowed pets. Unfortunately their patio isn’t covered and it was raining and super windy so they weren’t an option anymore but we saw king street grille right next door with a covered enclosed patio! Christmas miracle! We were the only ones eating out there. The tables weren’t the cleanest but they probably havent had people sitting out there since it’s been colder out. Our server was nice, he wasn’t very engaging but he was nice enough. I ordered their bbq bacon cheeseburger and asked for the bacon on the side. I don’t eat bacon but I knew my dog would enjoy it. I asked for the burger to be med rare. It was cooked to perfection!! It was an absolutely delicious burger. Burgers are my favorite food and I’m pretty picky. This one was outstanding. Thick and juicy and flavorful. It came with waffle fries that have maybe a Cajun seasoning. Delicious. My sister ordered a veggie quesadilla and a salad. She said everything was very good. She added avocado to her quesadilla ($3 up charge just so you know) I also ordered a bourbon drink. It maybe was called the bourbon smash. It was good. Could have been stronger. It had nice flavor but was forgettable. All in all it was a lovely experience. My only complaint is an odd one…they charged me $.75 to have the bacon on the side. I didn’t ask for extra bacon, just for the bacon that comes on the burger to be put on the side instead of on the burger. There were only 2 pieces so I know I didn’t get extra bacon. But for some reason they charged $.75 for it to be on the side. I didn’t even ask about it because I’m super passive and anxious so that’s never something I’d ask about but it seems like a weird charge. If I asked for extra bacon I’d understand but for them to charge to NOT put bacon on my burger and just set it on my tomato and lettuce there on the side was the strangest thing I’ve seen on a receipt in a while. So heads up on that. Otherwise this was a great lunch spot.

The restaurant was, busy, clean and everyone was having fun. The football games were on all the TV's. Our sever was Natalie. We ordered the Mac and cheese egg rolls, mushroom and Swiss burger, BBQ bacon burger Waffle Fries. Hands down the best berger ever. Service was top notch. I wish I lived closer. Lol Thank you for the great service, conversations, and amazing food. 🙏❤️

Usually this place is great, from the start! Not sure if the hostess was having a bad day but it was very evident that she was not happy.
Only giving three stars on service because it was a bit slow. We were on the patio and she may have tables inside as well, not sure.
Ate at the bar , Aaron was my server ,great service, attentive. Ordered mussels in garlic butter wine sauce. Also the hot wings all very good. Went for lunch, definitely will be back, great location, plenty of shops to explore. Great atmosphere, plenty of tvs.

Lots of TV's to watch the Sunday football games. Had the Southern King burger was excellent.
The food was not good. We were 5 people for lunch. One of the three burgers came wrong. Instead, blue cheese came as a burger with mushrooms , like the other 2 burgers. Burgers were put on a plain bun with 6-7 pieces of mushrooms. Server never asked if we want something else like lettuce, tomato , pickle ext. Meat Patty was overcooked and did not taste good at all. They do NOT offer sweet potato fries . Only have waffle fries. All fries were mushy and undercooked. Most likely, oil in fryer was not heated properly. One of the wings ordered came with wrong flavor as well. Our table was against the kitchen, we were able to see the young adults just flirting with the one of the servers and most likely not paying much attention about the food.
I spoke with the manager explained that I was disappointed and that server did not take our order properly and food was just bad simple order of burgers and wings and fries not cooked properly. So disappointed. Most likely will pass next time.
