Love this place, first stop everytime in Myrtle beach.
The hibachi had way too much grease and made me sick after, the server was a crash out and argued with us infront of her manager and got in my sister face yelling at her while my niece was crying because she was getting scared. All workers seemed racist and didn’t want to directly hand us anything. This was the broadway location 🫢 must be family owned because I would’ve fired that girl for yelling at customers infront of other customers. We have it on video too.
Ordered takeout today and for over $100.00 of food customers are forced to pay 15% “service charge” all 4 hibachi meals were dry and obviously not freshly made. The chicken and steak hibachi meals had only a few pieces of steak. When I got there to pick up the food, I was informed that all orders over $100.00 for take out have a mandatory 15% service charge. King Kong Sushi offers a memorable dining experience with excellent food and service. The sushi is consistently delicious, and their clear broth soup is notably flavorful. Appetizers like soft shell crab, crab wonton, and lobster wontons are absolutely delicious and phenomenal. The sushi deal is definitely worth it, and the super crunch roll sushi is super delicious. For dessert, the choco lava cake and fried cheesecake are loved. The service is amazing, outstanding, and attentive, with servers making the experience wonderful and special. Customers recommend the shrimp hibachi and find the overall experience to be great, despite a small note that the dessert presentation could have been a little nicer.
