We visited Marco Polo Pizzeria on our trip to Myrtle Beach. The atmosphere is fun. They have an ice cream parlor inside as well. We ordered a Jumbo half Supreme, half cheese pizza. It was huge and delicious. The price was reasonable for the amount of food. We went the next day for a banana split. It was so good. I’d highly recommend Marco Polos Pizzeria.
As a New Yorker, I’m particular about my pizza. Pizza preference can be subjective, but I thoroughly enjoyed their pizza. Slightly crunchy crust, perfect amount of melted cheese and flavorful tomato sauce. Service was ok, nothing to write home about but I didn’t come here to make friends. Pie took about 15-30 minutes depending on how busy. The restaurant itself is creatively designed and also has fun drinks and desserts on the side. Would definitely recommend.
As you pull into the establishment, finding a parking spot can be a little tricky but nothing too difficult. Walking in you’re met with vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Waiting in line wasn’t that bad, maybe like a 10-15 minute wait. (We went at about 10pm-11pm and there are a bunch of statues to take pictures with to pass the time) Staff is friendly and quick with your order taking. Food took about 30-35 minutes.
