My favorite place to go get half gizzards and half liver meal that comes with 2 sides and a hushpuppie for $8.34. Always delicious food and the ladies are always super kind.

Omg first time In South Carolina. After eating at an all you can eat seafood restaurant. That wasn’t worth 5 nickels. We said there is no way anyone can mess up chicken. So we decided to try Maryland Chicken. And to Our great surprise this place was Amazing. So tasty. So much we wanted it the next day. 😭 but they’re closed on Sundays. We will definitely get some on Monday and Tuesday before we head home to St. Louis !!!

First off the ladies that were working were truly welcoming. The pork chop was not crispy and just okay. The fried chicken was really good though. My husband said the mac and cheese tasted like boxed macaroni and not home made. The cheesecake was okay. I guess they're known for the chicken because it was cooked and seasoned well. Their prices are super affordable.

The best chicken livers anywhere! Super friendly staff that remember you by name and know what you always order. Its a nice touch when people call you by name because they remember you.
Update, they opened up the small dining area they have. And of course the food is just as good as it always has been.
Update 8/30/2025 - Same super friendly staff and same, consistent, delicious chicken and chicken parts.

The chicken was not that great. The mashed potatoes were bland they needed more flavor the gravy white gravy. No, thank you. It did not have any flavor to it. Whatsoever.
And the baked beans could have kept those the five gizzards.I had were good everything else.I ain't even eat.
