Stopped by for the first time (4/10/24). It was me & my son’s annual spring break vacation. The staff was SO NICE especially the little white lady working the register! We had the pork chops, chicken, fried okra, Mac n cheese, peach cobbler, & strawberry shortcake ALL 10/10!!! I couldn’t take pictures because it was smelling so good I had to sit my phone down. I’ll be back. Queen & Paul, Aiken South Carolina

Didn't get many photos. But I love this place. I'm from Beaufort SC and that's the only Maryland Fried Chicken I know. When I seen one in Myrtle Beach SC on vacation I had to stop we had some of all. Fried chicken, gizzard, shrimp and pork chops. . .rice and gravy, mashed tatoes with gravy, fries and Mac and cheese and fried okra . . . . Everything was on point but the Mac and cheese ? no matter what this place is awesome. But please do something with that Mac and cheese. It's not HITTING as the young folks say. Mines is better then that. . .sorry to say. But eat here. Most of everything is GREAT!!!!!

Maryland Fried Chicken is listed as one of the quintessential eateries in Myrtle Beach. If that’s any indication, their culinary scene is atrocious. When you walk into this modest little joint, you think you’ve stumbled onto a hidden gem masquerading as a hole in the wall. It’s not. Fried chicken batter should be crispy and crunchy. But I found an adjective that I never thought would describe fried chicken batter, leathery! I would have needed a steak knife to efficiently pierce this chicken batter, similar to the pigskin of a football and way oversalted and uncomfortably greasy. The mac and cheese is straight out of a Kraft mac and cheese box, and the fries certainly came from the frozen section of the local supermarket. This is not the real fried chicken I eat in Alabama and Tennessee, so I cannot recommend this place in good conscience.
Clean place and the chicken is fresh, hot and tasty!

My wife and I finally got a chance to try them out and I was a little disappointed. My wife had the chicken and said it was good (I'd hope so if it's in the name) and I had the gizzards. They were very chewy and rubbery and the sides were very bland with little taste. The fried okra was good and so was the popcorn shrimp. Might have to try the Conway location next time to see if it changes our minds. Middle of the mall experience at best for all the hype I've heard over the years. The staff was very friendly though.Parking: Very small parking lot. Can be a bit troublesome if it is the busy season.
The place I wanted to go was closed so I tried this place after wanting some good fried chicken. KFC has a better flavor. The chicken was just okay. The sides were just okay as well. The butter beans which the cashier told me were really good, “we’re not good.” The gravy on the mash potatoes was bland as well. I would not visit again.

When I saw Maryland’s Fried Chicken as I was driving to my resort, I knew I had to visit it. The chicken reminds me of delicious home cooked, tender and juicy fried chicken. The sides were also tasty. They have a variety of desserts and I couldn’t choose just one.
We came in from North Carolina and we always wanted to stop, so today we did. Let me tell you they didn't disappoint chicken was good, fries was good, and the hot sauce was so good my left side of my mouth went numb??We have found a place to eat from here on out.
Great food great service. Always enjoy when I'm visiting.
