Staff was very uncaring and dismissive, the music was ear splittingly loud, but the food itself was really good. (Just make sure to try to get it to go)
My boyfriend a I went to melt on a Saturday night at around 1. I went to the bar to order a drink, I turned 21 last summer. I am almost 22 she asked to see my ID which is no problem I know it is required everywhere she then looks at it and says “I can’t take this it’s laminated” excuse me? All IDS are laminated. She then takes it over to her manger and her manger says no that they cannot serve me. This girl then asks me if I have my passport. Why in the hell would I have my passport when I’m bar hopping in broadway BC I HAVE MY REAL ID. This is the first time I have ever gotten turned away for my REAL ID. I understand that bars have a job to do but there were many ways you could tell my ID was real and she simply could have asked me blind questions or even called the police lmao. I really think I was refused service because they were closing in 30 minutes. This was insane but they lost out on money. if you are freshly 21 or ABT TO EVEN TURN 22 don’t go here bc they will turn you away for a real ID. Insane🤦♀️

My family is from NC. We had dinner on February 23, 2026. Our waiter was Giovanni. He was very nice and had a great personality. Christian was the chef. When I Say, everything we ordered was great and tasty. Yes, indeed. They give you so much food. They deserve more than a five star. We most definitely will go back there the next time we come back to Myrtle Beach.

He answer all of our questions and promise us that we will enjoy what we ordered and that it will be plenty to eat. Giovanni keep being an awesome server and a great person. Thanks to Christian the chef. We asked Christian to come to our table. He didn’t hesitate at all. He greet us with a smile. We wanted him to know everything we ate was a 10 plus on a scale 1-10. Tried Melt tonight...so good. The food was fresh, hot, and made with amazing ingredients. I had the Mango Habanero margarita and it was the perfect balance of flavor and heat. The cherry limeade was also delicious, only thing missing was a hot day and a pool.
The Shelby pizza was incredible, and we ended the night with the chocolate chip bread pudding… absolute perfection.
Don’t sleep on this place, great food, great prices, and a really good atmosphere.

We took my daughter to Broadway at the Beach for her birthday and originally had plans to eat somewhere else. Luckily for us, that restaurant closed early because they were slow, so we looked for places open late nearby and Melt was the one my daughter chose, and WOW, are we glad she did!
From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly accommodating. They allowed our party of 9 to sit upstairs at the large table together, even though that area was already closed for the evening.
The food was absolutely delicious, affordable, and the portions were more huge. I decided to try the pimento patty melt and OMG, I am so glad I did. The house made pickles, Cajun bacon, and pimento cheese were a delicious combination. Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Everyone in our group loved their food, and the cozy atmosphere made it even better. Even the kids were happy, which says a lot.
Finding out it’s a locally owned business made the experience even better. My only regret is that I didn’t get to take pictures of our food because my phone was dead. We will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!
