Went there on Sunday at 3:30pm to get enough Mac N Cheese for the family wanted some soulfood while on vacation. Place was a ghost town no customers just the workers and she wouldn't sell me the Mac N Cheese. Said I can't buy that much (4 side orders) . Why make the food if your not gonna sell it... Took my money somewhere else

We came all the way from Los Angeles to try Moma B's food. Thankfully they are now open on Sunday's. I have travelled the world and eaten at several restaurants and this is by far the best Mom/privately owned Soul food restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The food is outstanding in flavor and everyone here is treated like family. I wish my husband looked at me the way he looked at those collard greens lol. We are fried chicken, baked chicken, smothered pork, potato salad, green beans, Mac n cheese, cole slaw, and collard greens. Can't wait to return for the breakfast menu. It may not be a fancy place but it's homey and you truly get your money's worth at Moma B's. Thank you everyone for your hospitality.

We were making our wedding plans after my partner and I were starved and decided to stop by that place. We both had baked turkey wings.. but I got rice with brown gravy, collards and a cornbread. My girl got Mac n cheese, collards and a cornbread. All food was good, but green collards was extremely disappointed because you could taste from can. We both were disappointed with our tea. I specifically asked for sweet tea, but we tasted like some fruit something tea. We loved a slice of banana pudding cake.

We had been wanting some good soul food all week and had been very disappointed everywhere we went. On our last day in Myrtle Beech, we decided to try this place. It was Memorial Day (well Monday) and when we pulled up we thought the place was closed, no cars, no people. We had to check to make sure it was open. It was. We walked in and it was like walking into someones home. All the seating was dining room tables with 4 chairs to each table. We were greeted right away. Our order was taken at the counter. I didn't pay attention and didn't notice that they had a menu. So, we just ordered from the special's board. I had fried pork chop, collard greens, mac and cheese, cornbread, and red kool-aid. When Moma B brought our food I immediately started putting pepper on everything (force of habit). She told me I wouldn't need any salt or pepper on her food, that she seasons everything just as it should be seasoned. She was right. Everything was amazing. The collards were perfect and very spicy (just the way I like them). The pork chop was big and well cooked. The mac and cheese was good and creamy. I wish I had a larger piece of cornbread, but I would not have been able to finish it. I had so much food left that I had it for dinner that night. The kool-aid didn't have enough sugar for me. If I am ever back in the area I would visit again, as there were things on the menu that I really wanted to try. Good job Moma B!
