Best fish and shrimp I've had in a very long time. Breading is still crunchy when you get it. Fish tastes clean and fresh, and the guys running it are really nice. Make sure to try it out if you can.

By far the BEST place for fish !!! Bob & Tim put out a delicious meal... We're here on vacation and have quickly become regulars... you're missing out if you don't give them a try !!!

Waited in line for over 15 minutes only to have them close in our faces. Sign just said open “until.” Wouldn’t suggest it.

It was okay, not that it was bad, just not my taste. It was basic, fried shrimp and fried fish. Nothing special about it. Expected more because of the other reviews and hype from the campground. Plus it was expensive.

This camping resort really has everything you’d want for a beach RV/camping trip. The sites are flat and well marked, but don’t expect shade. The walk to the beach was quick, with steps and foot washing showers every few streets. There were lots of activities available, but our family spent time at the beach. They allow golf carts, so they were all over. We will definitely return if we are in the area.

I can't say enough great things! The staff is increadibly friendly. The food is fantastic and all the meals we ate were cooked to perfection! The batter is light and not greasy. I wouldn't hesitate to make Montana's Fish Fry part of your eating experience!

We have been camping at Lakewood two or three times a year for nearly 20 years. This weekend we arrived at 2:30pm and was told we would have to pay $25 EARLY CHECK IN FEE. CHECK IN IS 3:00pm. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!! Our Daily camping rate during this stay was $27 per night. We were also told we would have to move our rig unless checking in. So we had to go to Wal Mart PARKING LOT (the only place large enough for a 50' rig) and wait for 15 minutes. Also the water was turned off for several hours without warning unless you downloaded their APP.

Staff was to busy talking to one another to talk to guest when checking in. No. pet park. Slides only opened on weekends. Great place to stay to be close to the beach. Great for kids to ride bikes. Hot tub smelled like bleach burned nose. The weather has been nice all week with the last couple of days being sunny. We were able to get in the water. The night was 82. Tomorrow’s high 69.

We paid $70 per night for a spot that was supposed to have an ocean view. Fact is none of the spots have an ocean view. You have to climb the stairs over a dune and go down some stairs to get to the ocean. All spots are packed in like sardines. Our neighbors sewer hole was right out our front door by the picnic table and this was a premium spot!!! Their WIFI did not work when I was there. None of the office staff would help me to get onto a connection so I could do my job. They told me to go elsewhere! Finally some nice lady came out from nowhere and told me she would type in her own connection & password so I could do my payroll. After I started doing my payroll some tall blonde clerk at the front desk left her post just to be rude to me and told me to move and then she rudely started talking to customers she brought over to where I was working just so I couldn't have a conversation with my employee while online. She was very loud and rude. I will never stay there again!

Front desk employee was not very friendly or helpful. It was our first visit and we had no idea what was what and where anything was located. Campers were parked like sardines!! The pool slides were not open because of no staff (what we were looking forward to the most!) The arcade was pathetic, half the games did not work and the other half were junk. The mini golf was flooded and dirty, trashy!! Young kids everywhere on bicycles, unattended and not paying attention to other traffic. For the money they charge per night, the whole place could be alot nicer and better maintained!! The family trivia was fun, the fish truck food was good and the movie night was fun. Very close to the ocean and the laundry room was a plus. Fields was a nice lifeguard and thats a wrap!!

First time camping at Lakewood and will be the last time. Couldn't get a site at Ocean Lakes where we always stay, should have realized there was a reason sites were open at Lakewood. Campground is not maintained and at the prices they charge that's evidence of greed. Nothing was clean. Bathhouses are disgusting, golf carts not cleaned between rentals, camp sites trashy, roads are in poor condition, the list goes on. Lakewood management make it clear they make no effort to reinvest back in the property. Even the signage is weathered, faded and the lights are half out. Take lessons from the Jackson family next door. Ocean Lakes stays booked and that should tell you something. Lesson learned!

We have had many enjoyable family vacations here in the past. Last time we were here was June 2017. This will be our last. This campground has gone way downhill. The complete lack of security patrol, far too many golf carts, and too many with underage drivers, far too many teenagers cruising up and down the campground roads in golf carts playing loud music, speed limit exceeded by vehicles and golf carts, shower house out of order, fireworks every night as late as 11:30pm. This place is not at all what it used to be.
