My wedding was on October 1 2016. I had them cater, do our cake, and DJ. Everything was amazing!!! The food was phenomenal, I heard nothing but complements about how good it was. They make any kind of cake/cupcake you could imagine. I got marble cake and raspberry and lemon cupcakes :) also awesome tasting! The DJ was so nice and kept the party going. Murray does seem like a busy guy and at times can be hard to get a hold of but I have to give him credit because 2 weeks before the wedding he made absolute sure we had everything in order. Wedding season is crazy for everyone, especially for those working in the industry. My best advice to brides is to stay calm and patient with your cater :) they will make it all happen and everyone will be satisfied :) I would definitely recommend Mike and Murray to anyone in the Myrtle Beach area!

I had planned on using Murray and Mike's to do the catering, cake, DJ, and photo booth for my October wedding. I was very excited since it was a one stop shop and I thought it would make everything so much easier. Unfortunately I was very wrong. Between January and July I asked Murray 3 questions. To get an answer for each of those 3 questions it took a minimum of 2 weeks. I would send and email, wait a few days for a response, nothing. Send a text (Murray said it was the best form of communication), wait a few days, no response. Call and leave a voicemail. He would normally call back to then say he was busy running into a store or something and that he would call back but never would. So the email/text/call process would start all over. Eventually, I would get an answer but not after being asked if I was sure I wanted to get married because he was going through a divorce and it sucked. By the 3rd question, which was in regards to setting up a cake tasting, I was so frustrated with trying to get a hold of him that my mom decided to step in and call. He told her that my wedding was 3 months out so there was plenty of time and if this was stressing me out how was I going to handle marriage. A few days after this I decided that Murray (I've never spoken to Mike besides at the initial meeting) and I were not a good fit. He was incredibly unprofessional and his comments crossed a line. My dad called to tell Murray that we were no longer going to use Murray and Mikes and he said fine and that we didn't know what we were going to be missing and he would call my dad about refunding our deposit the next day because he was out of town. This was 2 months ago....my dad, myself and my fiance have all called, emailed and text Murray and he is blatantly ignoring us. It has become such an issue that we are now involving a lawyer. So to all who are considering using Murray and Mike's Catering, BEWARE!

Recently went to a local wedding here in Myrtle Beach. The food and entertainment was awesome. Murray Stahler was the DJ who kept everyone dancing. Mike did an great job on the cuisine.

Murray the owner is one of the most amazing people I have ever dealt with. Food, staff, customer service, the overall experience, everything was beyond my expectations. I am from out of town so I didn't know who to call talked to a couple catering companies and after some research decided to hire these guys. The catering was great I received so many compliments on the food and friendliness of the staff.. Also the DJ did and excellent job and played great music to keep the reception going. If your looking for a good DJ in Myrtle Beach, he's the one. I would recommend you to all my friends.

I attended a gorgeous wedding last weekend. It was catered beautifully from the place settings to the food. The cuisine was delicious with great presentation. The Myrtle Beach DJ, Murray did a fantastic job keeping everyone dancing and entertained. Highly recommend if you have a wedding or special gathering to have them cater it.
