Go! Go now! This place is fabulous!!! The staff is very kind and attentive. Thank you Josie for wonderful service and cheers to Mike for some knock out cocktails. Even though we came 30 mins prior to closing, we received THE BEST service! We visited another restaurant and was denied service so I REALLY appreciate the amazing service we received. Fantastic tex-mex restaurant! The tacos were delicious and I am not a man who normally likes queso, but their queso is the best I ever had! Fantastic service from our server Josie and the bartender Mike made the best margaritas. If our vacation wasn't coming to an end I would go back. Definitely a place we must eat anytime we come back to Myrtle Beach!! On a side note everywhere else was closing early this night, yet they had no problem with us walking in 30 minutes before close, thank you for staying open late Nacho Hippo

We just visited on vacation with a family of 6. The staff was friendly and talkative as soon as we came in. The atmosphere was fun with great music and colorful lighting. The hippo decor and merch made it fun for the kids. We order the huge portion of nachos for all of us to share and it was so big we STILL ended up leaving with leftovers!! They were piled high and things like queso, salsa and sour cream were set on the side so the nachos kept a great texture and we could each add the perfect amount of what we wanted individually. When we ended vacation and asked everyone what their favorite spot was, this was the UNANIMOUS pick! We will absolutely be back. There are also a ton of shops to explore around the restaurant and a huge park with a great playground just across the street.

We were so excited to have an early dinner here but we were disappointed as soon as we sat down. The waitress came over and appeared to have a really nasty attitude. Our drinks came which were wonderful but the food was really disappointing. It was so salty that it was inedible. The wings came out and weren't completely done. When saying something to the waitress she seemed to not care. For an expensive little food place we were hoping to be able to enjoy a nice meal but we were left very disappointed. We ended up ordering something completely different and were not satisfied with the service or any of the food. I would not bother wasting your time going to this place. It is not worth it. There are many other options in the area that are much better.

We shared a nacho plate and it was enough for 2 people. Very good. They worked with an egg and dairy allergy for a child, grilled chicken and apple sauce.

Mi Engles not bueno good. The girl who take our order serve my son not 21 alcohol. No id. Just serve. Then boss comes and takes all our drinks. Hispanic service it was. Short girl. I make known they get underage drunk . Against law. I contact law possibly.

Only ordered two items yet waiter brought the wrong food which happens no big deal. However upon giving us the check the waiter chose the tip percentage himself which was absolutely crazy to me. Did not want to make a huge deal out of it but will never be coming back.

We sat at the bar. Great atmosphere.80s music playing. Great vibes. Karissa made us a great spicy Rita! Fun bartender. I recommend putting girls behind the bar. It draws in a good crowd. We aren't fond of the male bartenders there. Just something to think about. Men want girls pouring their drinks
