Food and wait service was marginal at best. I am surprised that this restaurant is rated so highly. I would not recommend it.

On a Saturday night at 7pm we were the only clients. Food was ok, we got burgers, fish & chicken wings.  the pictures from OpenTable did match the restaurant unless they close off the big dining room part. The service was good. Tetiana our waitress was very an attentive.

Went with friends for their Thanksgiving Day Buffet. The place was beautiful, the staff were superb and the food was excellent. They told me this was the first year they decided to do a buffet style Thanksgiving meal. They had 3 seatings and we chose the 2 pm time. I’m a Myrtle Beach local so I didn’t stay at their Ellie Beach Resort Hotel but it is beautiful and new. Great family place and both the restaurant and hotel are oceanfront. The price of the buffet was even less than had we cooked at home. Excellent Wedding Venue- I went to one there years ago

Weird experience:

I’m a solo traveler on thanksgiving. They have a thanksgiving buffet setup in the lobby with availability to reserve a spot at 5pm.

I try to reserve, but I can reserve/prepay for 2, but it doesn’t allow me to do so for 1.

Since I cannot reserve, it says I should be able to walk in. I go to walk in and am told I have to sit inside the restaurant (and take up a four top). I suggest that I should just sit at the hotel lobby bar with TV’s; win-win, I get to watch TV and eat by myself, they don’t have to use a four top on a single.

They say no.

It’s thanksgiving. I’m very confused why.

Never received so much push back before trying to spend money.

Don’t bother.
There are better places for the same cost.

Always enjoy a drink here when staying at the Marriott! Bartenders are great. How can you not like a guy from the Bronx? Sorry I forgot the cheese. Drinks are great and have always found some great conversation. Always like to sit and watch a little football and just relax. Martin

Awesome music. 1st night at hotel. Ordered a drink with soda water. The soda water was flat & when I let the bartender Jeff know, he only shrugged & “mansplained” to me how the drink was fine. He didn’t even offer to rectify my drink. It’s my “go to” drink so I know what it tastes like. Thought his response was sexist so sent my husband. He was very rude to him as well. Jeff is NOT bartender material with zero personality & zero customer skills. Needless to say that we spent our money elsewhere.

Food was great and view was nice. Stayed at the resort and had dinner here one evening. Price was a little bit high but food was good.

Got the salmon, although it was a very small portion for $27 and seemed farm raised not fresh/wild as we were told, the flavor was great. The vegetables and creamy risotto were also tasty

The cocktails -$12-$15, we're very small, a lot of ice and not strong. Only about 3-4 sips for the price.

The pizza was ok but $2 upcharge for any additional toppings which they only give you a small amount of topping.

Dessert was good. We got the churro cake.

I also got a ice tea and it was $5 which is a bit steep for a non-alcoholic drink

View was nice but you see more pool than beach.

They say parking is free but you have to pay for parking as a resort guest. They have signs for towing so not sure how that works, especially since there were no dedicated spots for the restaurant

This was a good experience... the food and service was excellent.... We sat outside.... The area wasn't as clean as I hoped- it needed vacuumed....

Solid place for breakfast wirh good selection. The bowls are very good. The sauce is a nice touch. Great service and atmosphere. Recommend dining here at the resort!
