I had not been to Outback in years. We finished shopping and wanted something quick. The staff was so friendly and we had the best potato soup I have had in years!!

In the past few months I’ve ordered takeout quite a bit. As with takeout orders from any restaurant, there’s almost always something minor missing or maybe even something major. I’ve had a few issues with a couple of my orders, but the reason for the 5 stars is the fact that this location always (not sometimes) steps up to not only correct it…but make me feel like a valued customer. I’ve dealt with both Ashley in the past and Kwame most recently (I hope I spelled their names correctly). Both of those managers not only corrected the issues but went above and beyond. What they don’t know is that I’m a private consultant and executive chef and many of my clients are national chain restaurants, local & regional restaurant groups, and much more. I only share this info because their direct efforts is what we teach and preach on a daily basis. When restaurants create an environment that make customers feel heard and valued…you gain a customer for life at that location. When managers lead by example the staff almost always follows. There’s a reason why I eat at this location when I don’t feel like cooking for myself or I’m in a rush. Consistency, correction if needed, and treated with respect. Thank you Ashley and Kwame. Keep up the stellar work.

I always enjoy Outback the stake and ribs were coated in black pepper. Really over powering not enjoyable at all. Services was great my wife and I sat at the bar. Both bartenders were very friendly and always checking to see if we needed anything.

Haven’t been at Outback for a good while cause I’m not much of a steak eater I was there getting a friend her lunch for her and the service was swift, the waiter was knowledgeable on my order and the atmosphere was very laid back for everyone to enjoy their meals.

A friend and I visited outback today for lunch and were very disappointed. Upon arrival the hostess informed us that we could only sit at the bar because the server “needed to catch up.” We were surprised and confused by this especially since there were several open booths. We came in expecting a normal dining experience, not to be turned away from proper seating due to staffing or internal issues. I politely declined and left, but am still baffled by the treatment. This is not the level of service I expect from a well known restaurant like Outback. Hopefully, management takes a closer look at how guests are welcomed and seated in the future.

Typical Outback. Service was very good. All the employees were friendly. There was an issue with our burger as we asked for no cheese and it came out with cheese on it. They could not be more apologetic about it. The chef even came out to apologize. Other than that it was a typical Outback experience.

Walked in with low expectations, walked out wonderin’ how they still had a roof over their heads. Australian cowboy food court vibes from the first step inside. We dropped $150 for four without a single drink — no big steaks, no fancy seafood — just the bill of a fine steakhouse with the feed of a mall kiosk.

The chow? Below average on a good day. I’ve had better flavour off the back of a shearer’s camp stove. And if you go for that 3 for $20 deal, don’t be fooled by the menu pictures: Your main will be about half the size they show, like someone’s already had a go at it before it reached your table.

Service was about what you’d get from a busy pub on a Tuesday: Not bad, but nothin’ you’d pay top dollar for. And for a place charging Carolina Forest premium, you’d expect the floors not to look like a chook pen after feedin’ time. Food fell, stayed there fifteen minutes, and nobody seemed in a hurry to clean it up.

The atmosphere’s tryin’ to be posh, but no matter how you dress up a shed, it’s still a shed. This one just happens to serve steak and charge like it’s gold-plated.

It’s got the menu of a high-dollar steakhouse, the polish of a strip mall food court, and the price tag of both combined.

Cost like a fine steakhouse, ate like a food court. Once was plenty. Not coming back.

We have never been more satisfied & impressed with our service and food at Outback. Jordan was our server tonight and she was nothing short of amazing. She made small talk with us, was very polite, and always came to our table with a smile on her face. Though we did not get everyone’s name we also wanted to mention how all the staff were working together, diligently, to get our food out in a very timely manner. We cannot wait to visit again!
