This was mine and my wife's first time eating here, and we were very pleasantly surprised. I love the way they do the ordering. It makes it feel down home. Excellent southern meals. The meatloaf, fried chicken, sweet potatoes, macaroni, coleslaw, grits, and biscuits were delicious. The restaurant was pristinely clean. Service was excellent, our waitress Haley was very friendly and provided us quick service.
The restaurant offers a pleasant family-style dining experience in a spacious setting with a view of Broadway. While the preparation of the ribs was not to my preference, as they appeared to be boiled or baked, the side dishes were satisfactory, even the collard greens. The dessert portions, specifically the banana pudding, were notably small. However, the service provided by our waitress was exceptional. I anticipate a return visit.
