I’ve been to a lot of shows like this, and I feel this one does an excellent job. The variety of acrobatics clearly borrows from Cirque du Soleil productions—shows like The Beatles Love or even elements of O—while at the same time carrying the atmosphere of something like Medieval Times. The mix of physical stunts, choreography, and energy from the performers makes this a well-rounded experience for kids as young as 3 all the way up through the teenage years. It’s a great family event and, in my opinion, very much worth the effort.
We chose VIP seats, and I felt they were worth it since you’re close enough to the action to feel part of the show. That said, I imagine any seat in the house still provides the same overall effect. The food is designed for a large crowd, but for what it is, it’s pretty good. The servers are attentive and clearly enjoy being part of the experience.
The real highlight, though, is the show itself. The talent of the acrobats and actors is impressive—they seemed both committed to their roles and genuinely having fun. My only critiques are fairly minor:
• Many of the sing-alongs used prerecorded vocals. It would have added a lot if some of the actors sang live rather than just lip-synced.
• The storyline felt predictable at times, and certain characters, like Blackbeard, came off a bit over-the-top. A little more explanation of the pirate groups, pirate history, pirate lore, and the conflict between them would have helped add depth.
That said, the theatrics are excellent, the entertainment value is high, and the visuals and sound make it a complete, immersive show. We’d recommend it to anyone, and if we return with friends, we’d happily go again ourselves.

Pirates voyage was decent showing. A little slow paced. I've seen the medieval times show and it was a lot better.

Let me be clear, the performers are AMAZING!! Great show.. my issue is with the food. I asked for a to-go box at the end and she offered me a PAPER BAG to put my leftover cream of veggie soup, biscuit, Mac and cheese, corn, chicken, ham and dessert in... a PAPER BAG!!
All of this is aside from the fact that they serve one item at a time. I was halfway thru my soup when the biscuit arrived. I was done with my soup and biscuit when the chicken arrived. I was halfway thru my chicken when the ham arrived. I had finished the slice of ham when the Mac and cheese arrived. At this point I slowed down because I was getting full. I was halfway thru the Mac and cheese when the corn arrived and I could eat no more.. so incredibly wasteful!! Do better!
We did the animal encounter and it was AWESOME. I don't always write post but when I do its something I really enjoyed. Our tour guide Spencer, was great. He knew alot of information and answered any questions that we had. We met Mako (i think thats the doggos name) so sweet and loving, Ruby the cool red macaw so beautiful and smart....but my favorite was TOBY he was 350 lbs of cuteness overload sea lion. So many tricks and when he waved it melted me. When I saw Toby and Mako in the show I was so thrilled and felt so honored to see them in action. The show was super great and wow the hard work that everyone puts in is spot on. ALL STAFF did super awesome job...from in the show, to behind scenes, to the waitress/waiters were great...and yes the apple turn over was really good.

I'd heard great things about this show and it did not disappoint! Outside you can visit the animals before or after the show. The show was highly entertaining with acrobatics, fake fighting, animals, and so much more. My kids absolutely loved it. We bought tickets last minute only the day before the show we called and bought over the phone with our AAA discount which saved some money on reservation fees. We bought the value tickets but were seated dead center front row! Way too much food but you can take it to go if you want to. This is a must do experience and any seat would have a great view.

My family really enjoyed the show and I appreciate that they offered gluten free and vegetarian options. I do wish there had been salt and pepper available as some of the food was bland but you get a large volume of food.
Our server was excellent but the person bringing out the soup could not tell me whether it was gluten free or not so I opted to skip the soup.
We found getting into the theater confusing and I wish where to go and what to do would have been communicated more clearly.
Despite my complaints, the quality of the performance more than made up for the other issues and I would recommend the show to anyone coming to Myrtle Beach.
