Mountain Dew tasted rotten. The restroom smelled like horrible sewage. The french fries were not fully cooked and soggy greasy. Definately not worth the price gauging.

Prime Chicken is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise for its outstanding fried ribs and mouthwatering biscuits. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of the deliciously seasoned ribs fills the air, immediately making your taste buds tingle with anticipation. The fried ribs at Prime Chicken are simply out of this world. The crispy coating gives way to tender and succulent meat that is bursting with flavor. Each bite is a heavenly experience, with the perfect balance of spices and a hint of smokiness. It's a true delight for any meat lover. But let's not forget about the biscuits. These golden-brown masterpieces are the perfect accompaniment to the ribs. They are flaky, buttery, and oh-so-satisfying. One bite into these heavenly creations and you'll be transported to biscuit paradise. Whether you enjoy them on their own or use them to sop up the delicious rib juices, they are a must-try and will leave you craving for more.Aside from the star dishes, Prime Chicken also excels in other areas. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff who are passionate about their food and genuinely care about ensuring a memorable dining experience. The restaurant itself is clean, inviting, and exudes a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. It's worth noting that Prime Chicken offers a variety of other delectable options as well. Their sides are flavorful and well-prepared, providing the perfect complement to the main dishes. The menu is diverse, offering something for everyone, whether you're a carnivore or prefer vegetarian options. In summary, Prime Chicken is a true culinary treasure. The fried ribs and biscuits alone are worth a visit, but the overall experience is what truly sets this place apart. With its warm atmosphere, friendly service, and a menu that caters to all tastes, Prime Chicken is a definite five-star destination. Prepare to indulge in some of the most amazing fried ribs and biscuits you'll ever taste.

* I rarely give one star reviews. Waited for my plain chicken sandwich after going to the drive-thru for about 15 to 20 minutes. Establishment did not look to be busy. Some of the staff was snippy with other customers. It was just of them to give me a free drink while I was waiting. Quality of the chicken sandwich reminded me exactly of public school cafeteria food. Not worth the price, wait, or patience.
The food is amazing, the music is awesome, but Tiffany, our server/manager/hostess/rockstar, was the best! You have to try this place!!
We just stopped by for dinner and the ladies working were very nice and attentive. The food was great too. I liked the ranch sauce, it was more than just regular ranch. I’d come back just because the employees were nice! They offered margarita/daiquiri samples that were great too!
Ordered 8pc chicken meal with biscuits & Mac & cheese. Worst Chicken I ever had. Had a strange taste and texture to it. Was chewy rather than crunchy. If I had to guess I would say it’s being fried in old oil from the taste. Mac & cheese tasted liked absolutely nothing. Mashed potatoes was the same. Biscuits was ite. Overall disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend eating here. Was my first time. definitely won’t be returning.
My husband and I visited this restaurant today for the first time. We ordered the bone in chicken snack (2 pieces of chicken, 1 side and a biscuit). The chicken wasn't too bad. The seasoning was different than I've ever tasted. I got mac and cheese. It was good and it was hot. The biscuit tasted like it was deep fried. My husband ordered mashed potatoes and cole slaw. He liked the cole slaw. The potatoes were cold. He sent them back and the 2nd ones were the same. The employee taking the order was very unfriendly.
Clean place food has a nice presentation hush puppies where ok garlic sauce was good on the chicken. Good size tenders. Interesting breading light style breading. Biscuits where big and fluffy onion rings were ok kind of expensive. Would like to try the bone in chicken next.

It is a good looking establishment with a friendly drive-thru cashier, but that is about it. The food containers are what you are really paying for, not the food itself. I ordered a 3 pc fried chicken (white) with fries, upgraded combo with a drink. Sadly, their 3 pc was actually a 2 pc and I was shocked that they actually chopped an average-sized chicken breast with rib meat into 2 pieces smaller pieces because I received the top (thicker) piece and a bottom (thinner with the pointed end) piece. The fried chicken pieces were dry and lukewarm, not crispy nor crunchy, but thick and chewy. The fried chicken probably had been sitting around for awhile. The little chicken wing was fully intact and tasted a little fresher and crispier, and most likely cooked at a different time. The biscuit was delicious, but very crunchy. The fries were served in an insulated bag which steamed the fries, causing the fries to clump up and be soggy. The condensation inside the bag of fries showed it was bagged up for awhile. Honestly, if they cannot make a good first impression with their "PRIME CHICKEN", why would I go back for a second time? It seems to me that they were cutting corners on the food, but not their advertisements. Honestly, I will not be a returning customer.
This restaurant is close to the airport and I stop by every time I’m in Myrtle Beach. They have the BEST unique chicken tenders almost flourless base but packed with southwestern spice. Even the sides such as macaroni & cheese and coleslaw tasted like they were made from scratch. The customer service was great from the cashier and even the cooks with recommendations for things to try next time. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone in the Myrtle Beach area.
New, original chicken joint opens its first location. Straight forward menu of their own signature bone-in chicken, prime tenders, chicken sandwiches, deep fried ribs and sides. Their motto on the takeout bags states: “done right no bread crumbs”, as they have their own unique flour based breading with just the right amount of southwestern spice. Open, airy interior with metal furnishings and patio tables and benches outsides. I was more than pleased with my order of jumbo tenders, larger than any other fast food chain, lightly breaded, moist and meaty. A good chunk of chicken breast. My choice of sides were the creamy mac and cheese and my always favorite hush puppies. There was a slight delay on our order and the manager rewarded us with an additional mac and their home style mashed potatoes and gravy. Loved all the sides. Kudos to the manager. A good size, flaky biscuit came with the meal and that too was enjoyed. A choice of sauces were available and we went with the standard honey mustard, but that was probably the only thing not to our liking as it was more mustardy. Manager went out of his way to make our experience enjoyable and was apologetic about the delay. After eating our meal, we were more than happy to wait.
We stopped in to try out a new chicken place. As fans of Canes and Chick Fil A, we are impressed. We tried the 5 finger lunch box. The meal obviously comes with five chicken tenders, but it also comes with two sides and a homemade biscuit. The chicken fingers are huge. I have never had chicken fingers so large and good. They are lightly breaded which I liked. The fries were hot and fresh. The homemade Mac and cheese was also wonderful. The biscuit was tasty and the perfect addition to the meal. Seriously, we couldn’t have been happier. This is a place we will definitely visit again and again.
This was my first time at Myrtle Beach, and so I wanted to try a restaurant I’ve never had before. My boyfriend and I decided that Prime Chicken would be a pretty decent place to get dinner from. We walked in, and we were greeted by a friendly staff member. She gave us a small sample size of their in-house special drink: Prime Coconut Colada. It’s super tasty, and slightly sweet (which I love)! The chicken legs, as seen in the picture, are crispy, juicy, and THICCC. The biscuit is AMAZING…super fluffy, and isn’t dry like a Popeyes biscuit. The BBQ sauce, along with the ranch, are really tasty!TLDR: 10/10 Customer Service & 10/10 food choice. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and family. I also love this restaurant because it is a family-owned business!!
