We stayed in the hotel two nights for 2026 new year and ate at Reel three times. Everything we tried was delicious the servers were great. The prices were very reasonable for the current economy. Would stay at the hotel just to go to the restaurant again.

The restaurant is clean and decorated beautifully, staff was friendly, but the food was atrocious. You could taste the seafood was not fresh, but frozen, and the portion sizes were minuscule. My mom got the chicken tender dinner and it was barely cooked, including the fries. My shrimp scampi had okay flavor but the sauce was so watery and the dish came with 4 overcooked, once frozen shrimp. My aunt got the haddock fish fry which was cooked well, but a very small portion. Her fries were also undercooked.

One of the best places for food in a view in a nice comfortable environment in South Myrtle Beach Located in the Hampton Inn & Suites Oceanfront. Easy free parking in the parking deck in front. Restaurant is on the lobby level overlooking the pools and ocean. Food was delicious. Great variety of food and drink option at reasonable prices. They just started their fall menu. Definitely worth checking out.

Had a wonderful Happy Hour at Reel today! Started with an amazing time with Katelyn the Director of Sales to meeting the bar manager Robert who is so friendly and professional, who took time out of his busy schedule to visit … and Dave….the most social, fun and talented bartender. Im a local and will be coming back again and again! Thank you!!

I was on hold for 30 minutes because the lady at the front desk decided to continue her personal call and conversation, I was on hold for the entire 25 minutes it took me to drive to the resultant, luckily when I arrived Mitch the server went out of his way to take care of me immediately as I showed him the call that was still on hold. The front desk lady with red spiky hair needs re-trained. Although, Mitch deserves a raise and promotion.

Food was hot and delicious. Service was excellent. I had the fish and chips, and wife had chicken tenders, all of it was very good food. It is in the Hampton Inn Oceanfront, so the atmosphere is really nice.

Trying to locate the restaurant when you don't stay at the hotel is difficult. No parking specific for the restaurant and no signs telling you where to go. We had hotel guests let us in and they directed us after wandering around the parking lot. The atmosphere was good with a view of the ocean. Service was decent and the server was nice. The chicken quesidia was good and a decent portion. The fish and chips i would not order again. The fish was the size of fish sticks and there were three pieces. The fries were not crispy. For $16.99 it was way over priced for the size of a kid's meal.

We had an absolutely delicious meal at Reel. Our server was friendly and helpful, and we are the salmon Oscar and crab cakes, both amazing! A hidden gem!
