We recently discovered a Rita’s in Myrtle Beach and enjoyed indulging in my favorite green apple Italian ice. The treat was delicious as always, but I did have one concern. The young lady working there was handling the store alone, which was surprising given the store’s size and its two entrances—one on Ocean Blvd and the other on the other on 13th Ave South, a side street that was dark and felt a bit shady. I got myself a gelati with watermelon ice and vanilla custard, and the texture of the ice is unbelievable, and the custard is one of the best ice cream textures I've ever tasted, very creamy with no artificial vanilla flavoring, and the service was welcoming and very helpful. I will definitely be coming back.
The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious! Perfect treat after a day in the sun or time on the beach! I sat outside on the patio and enjoyed my treat in the shade. The patio was mostly clean from what I remember!
