Came in at 4 to grab some eats to go. Waited 5 minutes to even be spoken to, despite SLOW. Everyone was not giving a crap. Food was not up to par definitely not the norm. Bar drinks were alsoš„“ I think pineapple juice was bad- only thing that made sense. We paid and left and got out to the beach and oh man disappointed. I tried to call and speak to manager was told they couldnāt find him. To call back in an hour( which would have been during dinner rush)) ??? Called back ten minutes til closing like six times rang until it asked for access code.. No one answered.. wanted to bring to attn that restaurant smelled like it needed a good scrub down. cooks were on the line with phones in hand , server I walked past smelled dirty , food was not up to par and slaw was bad- It was literally warm in the middle and caused ā¦. River city this location seems to have gone to crap. If they reach back out or if girl answering phone had acted like she gave a crap I wouldnāt be posting this as it would have been resolved by now. I brag about this place to everyone. How upbeat the cook line is, how good the service is , how fantastic the burgers are and the chili cheese fries and chicken sandwiches and bar drinks are good bar drinks. This is second time in a row it sucked overall and itās a huge disappointment to say so. It was convenient/ consistent quality. Donāt waste your time

The food was actually pretty good if you don't mind having right wing politics overtly shoved down your throat. It took a half an hour to get a breakfast order at the counter. I didn't care for the coffee but it it might've just been the heinous message on the mug that left a bad taste in my mouth.
This place may look like a dive But the food is great. Their specialty is hamburgers! Their fries are excellent also. I forget how many ways they can add different ingredients to the burgers. My husband and I also enjoy eating the roasted peanuts while we wait for food.

It was such a fun time! We laughed so hard and had the best time. The kids loved that we got peanuts and you can throw your shells on the floor. Food was amazing and our waitress was great! š We will be stopping again.

I like this place. The atmosphere is fun, casual, and very beach. For me, there are not really a lot of true beach vibe restaurants in Myrtle Beach. Most restaurants are bar like with a little bit of a nautical theme. Itās like the vast majority of the intercostal waterway is untouched and unseen. Why are there not tons of places in Myrtle Beach that have island vibes and water views? Anyhow, this is usually a good place to grab a burger but not so much the night of this visit. My burger was way overcooked. I still ate the entire burger but it was just missing that fresh meat taste, texture, and juiciness. Not the end of the world. I live in town so I will come back, it may just be a while. I still do highly recommend a visit. Usually everything is good. I do truly like this location. Itās next to the beach, has plenty of easy parking, and is in a less busy but I think nicer part of town. Itās so easy and safe to cruise in and out of the area without any hassle. Give it a try, Iām sure youāll like it.
