This is the river city cafe that is located in the ocean sands resort in North Myrtle Beach. I've eaten here for 3 years and never had any complaints about the service or food. The staff is always friendly, courteous and very pleasant. The last 2 years we've been those customers that show up close to closing time and the staff still welcomes you to place your order. 5 Star all day long.
Dietary restrictions: You can get burgers with no cheese or buns and the salads would be a great vegan option
Parking: If you're not staying at the resort there are paid parking meters for beach access

Best burger and onion rings ever! Waitress was wonderful and very attentive. I think the burger was something called bacon ranchero? I don’t really like burgers much so for me to be impressed says something. The onion rings were huge, size of my hand. Wonderfully crunchy and great flavor. The hamburger meat and onion ring batter are seasoned perfect. We were staying in the hotel and just arrived and looking for a close by place to eat instead of venturing back out and it was a very good choice! Unfortunately no photos because after the first bite, it was gone quickly.

Can not answer on how the food is. Being an hour and a half later WE WALKED OUT. WAITRESS COULD HAVE CARED LESS. THAN A MANAGER WANTED TO COMP OUR FOOD. WHICH, HAHAHA , WE NERVE GOT. WE WATCHED 3 OTHER TABLES GET THEIR FOOD THAT CAME IN AFTER US. TIME TO LEAVE!!! WE WERE GIVEN EXCUSES THAT WE B.S. FROM OUT OF SOME DISHES, TO THE BUSINESS BEING SOLD. TIME TO GO.

This place was truly amazing in comparison to nacho hippo. The cheese curds, and the Jalepeno jam bacon burger were truly incredible, as well as the fries. Our waitress, whose name slipped my mind unfortunately, was above and beyond. She was slightly taller, with blonde/brown hair. Truly outstanding. They forgot the cheese on my burger, and they offered to remake it, which I did not accept, and it was still one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. It didn’t even need cheese! It really was that good. Hot. Fresh. Fast. Incredibly affordable. This will be a Myrtle beach memory I could never forget. Thank you for the discount for the missing cheese. That was truly so kind of you guys, so I paid it forward on the tip. Truly outstanding! I’ll be coming by again before I leave on Sunday. Have an amazing weekend team river city! Be safe! And one love!
