A great place to stay! We loved the convenience of the Boathouse bar next door within walking distance. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good and had plenty of variety for a buffet style breakfast. The manager of the hotel made us feel valued and did a great job.

Hotel in a area reclaimed industrial area with some new hotels. It is on a river. We were at the end of the hotel next to a bar with live music- pretty loud when we arrived but a heavy downpour ended it. Easy to drive to restaurants in the beach area. We found 1/2 hour to 45 min waits at 2-3 places we tried. The hotel had very comfortable beds. And was modern- lots of hookups for electronics. Bathroom door was a barn door type- looks nice but not sure how practical it was. No tub but well engineered shower with wall supply of soap, shampoo & conditioner. Individual soap for sink.

There’s bedbugs In room 209 and the morning shift clerk will tell you they pay $50 for a test about the bedbugs instead of understanding your inconvenience never staying there agin

They put us in a room right near an area they were doing remodeling, the room smelled really weird, so noisy! Also took almost 3 minutes for hot water to make it to my shower.

Super poor customer service, the rooms was so small. Bet not comfortable. We have two days stay and I regret it. They have a remodeling and only one elevator was working. Pool was not able to use, carpets was nasty. I don't recommend this place at all. I hope that whatever they do helps to make this place better.
They have been extremely welcoming to our family and our situation. All the staff go above and beyond. Its homey, comfy and relaxing. We love going out in the back and fishing and going for a cocktail or two and some dinner and dancing at the boat house. Its also being completely renovated. Cant wait to see it when its done. Love it

I don’t understand what people are saying about this place, even though they are under construction, this was a VERY clean place to stay. The staff was absolutely amazing, from the manager right down to the cleaning staff. Sure, the restaurant was closed, but other than that this was a great place to stay for the price. We stayed in a 2 double bed room for the first 2 nights and were moved to 2 separate rooms after asking if they had any larger beds available. Oh, btw there were 4 of us. We paid 274 for 4 nights. The extra room , which had a king bed, was only 40 per.

LOOK! I get what some people are getting at in their reviews. But, this hotel is undergoing quite a large construction project. Would I say it's a weekend resort at this stage? Well no, I wouldn't. If you need a night to crash and get some sleep, or want a rather good deal during its restoration then at 50.00 a night in MYRTLE BEACH you really can't go wrong.

I have never written a review before in my life and I want to warn anybody that has interest in staying here should not. My girlfriend and I were coming to the beach for a good getaway. Right when we pulled into the parking lot we thought we were at the wrong hotel. I walked in and got a weird feeling of the place. We went into the elevator and there was a cigaret on the ground, when it clearly states that there is “no smoking.” When we got into the room it was very musty, smelled like smoke, and was not cleaned properly. The thing that got me most was the Erie feel in the hotel, I was constantly watching my back....... We knew right when we walked into the room that we were not going to stay the night. Fortunately, the man at the front desk was super understanding when we asked for a refund. Please, do NOT stay here!
