Ruth's Chris Steak House

We had a great time there. Lovely ambience. Not noisy. Every mouthful of our steaks and sides were delicious. Waiter Phil and assistant Tyler gave us perfect service. Manager also. They exceeded expectation regarding a wine issue. It was worth every dollar. Best meal out in a long time.

We went for an anniversary. Originally they sat us in the back next to noisy golfers. The waiter, Jeremy, realized this and immediately asked if we wanted to move due to our occasion. We accepted and our dinner was more intimate. The service was great, good info, and timely and respectable. the food was very good.

The service at Ruth's Chris was truly outstanding, and the food lived up to the high standards I've come to expect from the Ruth's & our steaks were perfectly prepared and thoroughly enjoyed by all five of us. That said, to maintain that upscale ambiance throughout the entire experience, it might be worth refreshing the dessert menus; the black leather binder we received felt a bit worn and tattered, with some paper inserts showing signs of age and a minor smear on one page. A quick update could help ensure the presentation matches the excellence of the meal and leaves guests with an even more polished impression. Overall, a great evening, and I'd happily return!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary tonight. Every bite was absolutely delicious. The dirty martini was the best I've had in the are. Reginald our server was 5 stars. He went above and beyond making sure we had top notch service. I would come back just to have Reginald serve us again. Thank you!

Our server Riley was wonderful...efficient, friendly and accommodated our every need...the background music was so beautiful and just the right volume...relaxing and we could hear each other talk...food was delicious as always and served piping hot...we got chicken breasts, creamed spinach, julienne potatoes, shrimp cocktail, cheesecake, creme brulee, ice cream and drank good wine (Quilt)....very flattering lighting in the dining room so we all looked good....

I made a reservation at this restaurant as a surprise for my wife on our 50th Anniversary. We are from NC, and this was our first dining experience at this restaurant. We could not have been more pleased with the entire dining experience. We were greeted with kindness from the moment we walked in, and during the seating process. The staff had decorated our table with small, Happy Anniversary decorations, consisting of small hearts, roses and the words, “Happy Anniversary.”

A couple minutes later, we were greeted by our server, Shawn. After learning that it was our first visit, she took the time to go over the different options available to us, as well as the specials that were available. After bringing our drinks and bread, and taking our orders, she regularly checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

My wife and I both ordered house salads, Filèt Mignon with Shrimp, one with a side of mashed potatoes, the other with a side of Broccoli. When they brought the food out, it was steaming hot on a heated plate, and was cooked to perfection! The Filèt literally melted in our mouths, and had the most wonderful flavor! After completing our main course, Shawn brought out our desserts, which were delicious chocolate mousse, with what appeared to be a crumbled Oreo crust, and topped with a delicious, whipped, creamy topping. Shawn had topped one of the desserts with a candle as one more way to celebrate our special day.

There is no way that our food could have been any better, and our server was the “icing on the cake” of our entire experience - Shawn was amazing! I salute Ruth Chris for having people like Shawn in their employ - She truly is a valuable asset to their business!

Recommended dishes: Filet, Surf and Turf

Worst my strip I've ever had in a high end restaurant. Rushed service and crying babies. Business casual attire requested yet o people were wearing gym shorts and tee shirts .will stick to NY Prime when dining in Myrtle Beach.

Phil Evan’s was our waiter extraordinaire! We ordered an appetizer, filets, thee sides, wine and cocktails AND three desserts! We also had enough leftovers for a couple of meals, but we wanted to taste it all. It is the best food ever! Phil timed everything so we never felt rushed. He made us feel so pampered! If I could give him more stars, I would. Thank you for a memorable evening!

The food was excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly and it was so good!! . The sides I ordered were delicious. The food was outstanding and so was the service. Lexy was terrific and extremely attentive. Will definitely go back again.

This was my wife and I 3 year anniversary. I called 2 times for a special dinner experience. They put us at the wrong table and didn't even rectify the situation. I'm really not happy about that. But the food was pretty good. The steak could've been seared more. All in all not bad.

I would like to acknowledge the exceptional service and quality of food that we enjoyed over dinner last evening. We were celebrating a special occasion, just my wife and I. We were welcomed in the bar area by ASH at the front door and then taken care of by your three bartenders working that evening. After a short while, we transitioned into the dining room where Reginald then took care of us for the rest of the evening. His professional demeanor and attention to detail really set the tone for a nice meal. We enjoyed a New York strip, stuffed chicken, and then shared sides of mashed potatoes and mushrooms. The evening ended with coffee and cheesecake for dessert. Although I did not get his name, your valet (complementary) was very professional and attentive from our arrival to our departure.
