My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at Scotch Bonnet Authentic Jamaican Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with vibrant decor and a relaxed, island-inspired vibe.

The food was absolutely incredible—authentic Jamaican flavors that transported us straight to the Caribbean. The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned, the oxtail was tender and flavorful, and the sides (especially the rice and peas and plantains) were a perfect complement.

If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, a great atmosphere, and genuine hospitality, Scotch Bonnet is the spot. Highly recommended for any occasion—or just because you’re craving excellent Jamaican cuisine! We’ll definitely be back.

This place was top rated for a reason and I’m SO glad me and my mom decided to come here. Being that we came almost 6 hours from our home, we always love to try new spots. Scotch Bonnet is the top Jamaican spot in all of Myrtle Beach. All of the seasonings are on POINT and the portions are awesome for the price. I believe our total came up to $40 for two plates! Day one, I had brown stew pork w/ cabbage, rice and peas, and plantain. My mom had jerk chicken w/ mac and cheese, rice and peas, and cabbage. Day two, we each got brown stew pork w/cabbages, mac and cheese, and plantain as our sides. If anybody comes to Myrtle Beach for a getaway, you CAN NOT leave without trying this place! 1000/10! Plus, the chef and cashier were so sweet and hospitable!! :)

This Jamaican restaurant is the closest thing to Jamaica in the taste of the food and spices. I recommend this restaurant a 1000% because the food is authentic and really great... Big up to the Chef.

Hands down the best Jamaican restaurant in the area. That curry goat was perfect and I never heard of rasta pasta but now it's one of my favorites!
