Some of the best Jamaican food Iāve ever had. The oxtails, jerk chicken, baked Mac n cheese, and fried sweet plantains were absolutely incredible. Iāll 100% be returning.

A real gem of a spot! š¶ļøš“ The melt-in-your-mouth jerk chicken wraps was a win tonight with cabbage that melts in your mouth as well and paired with a clean, welcoming atmosphere and a caring Caribbean family. Thatās the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after the meal is over. We will be back for the ox-tails since as this our adult children favorite. #bestjerksaucewelike

Be careful when ordering the jerk chicken sandwichā¦. Found a bone in the sandwhich that was quite largeā¦not chicken gristle which is what was commented I cut the inside of my mouth that doesnāt happen with gristle (also gristle is chewy this was hard as a rock) and nearly broke a tooth chewing the bone. I get that they say it was deboned but it clearly wasnāt checked properly.
I love authentic food and itās a shame that Iām leaving this review because their food was quite nice until I bit into the bone the second order we received was also wrongā¦
By far one of the best places ever. I've tried several jamican restaurants near the hotels by the beach and even some recommended by locals and they do not compare to the food here... super friendly atmosphere. Don't expect a five star restaurant vibe.. it's down home and the music is great... even have dominoes on Friday nights. Just moved here and will be coming back! The portions are big and worth it.

If youāre craving authentic Jamaican food⦠keep craving.
Because what we got here was authentic food poisoning.
From the moment we walked in, it was giving āhealth code violation meets haunted cafeteriaā vibes. Overflowing trash cans in the dining area and bathroom, falling decor clinging on for dear life, and a laundry basket full of empty toilet paper rolls like itās part a āthings that belong in the trashā exhibit. The hallway to the bathroom? Completely darkālike a scene from a low-budget horror film.
Our teenage waiter mumbled through the whole service and brought us one fork, then another one upon request for three mealsāmath isnāt his thing.
The food? Fried chicken was dry and stale tasted like it was fried yesterday and reheated in regret. The jerk chicken had a strange, sour flavor that was⦠suspicious. And the brown stew chicken was mostly bones. The mac & cheese was bland yellow chock powder mixed with sadness. Honestly, the rice was the only thing that we suspected may have been safe for consumption.
We left feeling nauseous and increasingly unwell. Not fullājust fooled.
This place isnāt a hidden gem. Itās a public service announcement.
Save your stomach. Go anywhere else.
