The she crab soup was a bit salty, but you really can just go there for the huspuppies. So good! Great atmosphere!

Definitely a good location with a view. Do not recommend the breakfast at all. It’s a very small buffet with limited choices and not at all what we expected so we actually left and then came back for dinner (since we had $100 in gift cards for having sat through a timeshare present). Dinner was a better experience with pretty good food selection , better service, and an overall decent experience.

Very loud! I couldn’t have a normal conversation without yelling. No I was not at a bar but the noise level was almost at that level.

The food was decent, but the service was absolutely dreadful. From the host to the unprofessional bartender and rude waitress, it was a complete disaster. The lack of courtesy and basic professionalism was shocking, and it was clear that every table in our section was enduring the same poor treatment. If you’re celebrating a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary, do yourself a favor and avoid this place unless you want your night ruined. Was looking forward to this place on our trip and will never be going back.

We had lunch yesterday outside. Some of the staff when they brought out the food had no idea what table to go to. I got the wrong meal twice. The second time I didn’t say anything because I didn’t feel like waiting anymore. My chopped salad had chicken instead of the shrimp which is what I asked for. Food was still good but service was having a very off day.

We picked up. The pick up location was at the front door with no true seating. We had to shuffle around every time the door was used. Dishonest online pricing. Their menu was entirely out dated. $55.00 for 3 small items. Turned out to be $70.00 +... felt like a rip off. Scallop salad wasn't that good. Jumbalaya was so bad. Poor rating, I do not recommend. They gave us a cup and charged it as a bowl. Gordon Ramsey aught to show you how to cook. 🤮

It was OK, not sure it lived up to the praise everyone gives it. Our server, Jenny, was super nice, attentive, and knowledgable. The appetizers (she-crab soup and fried oysters) were outstanding, particularly the oysters which were perfectly fried and juicy. The main courses were the let-down. My wife's shrimp were overdone, my son's fish was heavily fried almost as dark as the table, and my scallops came out with the saddest rice pilaf I've ever seen...just a couple specs of dull vegetable in them. Maybe I should have gotten the vegetable side and it would have been a better pairing. 4 stars for the apps, server, historic atmosphere and view. I'd give it another shot but maybe stick to the fresh catch or oysters.

The shrimp and salad were ok. The hush puppies were really good! The sweet tea was very good! For 2 adults and 1 child it was about $87 dollars. The restaurant was clean and the view was beautiful! Parking was across the street.

I’ve been a few times and it’s been very disappointing each time. I will give credit to the chefs that the seafood they cook is perfect. I had scallops and my husband had sea bass and it was very good. Outside of that, the service is appalling . Our waiter had lots of time to talk to his other tables but wouldn’t bring the hush puppies or drink refills. He waited until we were completely done eating to offer a refill. We. Ordered dessert and my husband asked for coffee. He brought the coffee after we were done with dessert and we were eating slow to give this guy a chance to redeem his service. It was not a busy night - it was during the week and loud waiter had no issues talking to his other tables and checking on them. Management sent me an email asking for a review and I told them this same info including the waiters name so they could give him training but they didn’t respond. If you’re going to spend over a hundred for dinner, there are so many other restaurants that will give you great treatment.

Well, I ordered the salmon with a baked potato and an alcoholic beverage. The drink was delicious and the potato was fine; the salmon came out very undercooked so I had to have it reheated to eat it. Once heated, it was also serviceable. The waiter was great, and despite lack of outdoor seating I still enjoyed the ambiance.
I liked some aspects of this restaurant but can't in good conscience give any higher than a 3 star ranking because of the way the salmon first came out.

The bartender chewing a straw was a special treat. Asking for lemon for a seafood dish, classic. Then I’m served in a paper take out. Seems legit. Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Chewing on a straw? Really. Classy place.
