Anniversary dinner. Hostess was really nice & our waitress was super attentive and quick. We were in & out within an hr. Food arrived quick, hot & delicious. Had a reservation & didn't have to wait for a table.

We have been coming to the Sea Captain's House regularly since 1991 and have always enjoyed a great meal and friendly staff. Please see picture of my 93 year old father who is a big fan and loves the shrimp! Question: we LOVED the Muddle and miss it being on the menu! Is it possible to occasionally revive as a dinner special and let the public know on FB / social media in advance so we can plan a visit? Thanks very much, see you again soon!

We wanted to have our first meal at Myrtle Beach be at a top-notch restaurant, well, this restaurant did not suffice. For the outrageous amount we spent, the food was cold, underdone and the presentation was pitiful. I wish we had just gone to Red Lobster.

Learned about this eatery today so I decided to check it out. At first it looked like on-site parking only had 2 spots open to the public but then I saw there is ample room across the street.
I was seated immediately as it was only moderately busy. Meal order process was very positive. Server was Doug who did a great job taking my order, explaining options, and upselling without being pushy. Food quality on my seafood platter was very good and portion size was appropriate for the meal price. Free refills on the pop. Didn't have to wait for the tab.
Good views of the ocean while dining. Will definitely consider eating here again on a return M.B. visit.

So....Where to begin.... I am not one of those people to leave negaitive reviews but this one just...... Just deserves it. The view was so pretty but thats all that was good the wait staff was great but the food was not it was like someone ran to Walmart and bought frozen fish from the back of the freezer and then 5 minutes before we ate thawed it and steamed it, the prices where ridiculous for some back of the freezer Walmart fish, so will not return.

Wow! The hush puppies and the homemade cinnamon rolls brought to the table were unbelievable! The service was professional. We loved it. Even bought the salt scrub and homemade dinner mints at checkout! So glad our neighbor suggested this place. Have driven by here dozens of times but never thought to stop. A gem worth checking out! Baked potato was excellent!

Noisy. My wife and I had trouble talking and hearing.
My wife had a very good meal. Shrimp and Grits were a 4-5 rating.
I first ordered Chilean Sea Bass. I took a small bite off both pieces. So strong I sent it back. I then ordered Mahi with a side of Brussel sprouts. It was now 1 hour and 20 minutes since we were seated. My Mahi came out raw and they brought a baked potato. My meal/s were a zero.

Seafood was much better than Milwaukee’s Service and atmosphere was lovely with the sea view. Worth the price especially for a date night.
Food was average. We were seated in the bar area party of six. Server was the bartender and was extremely uninterested as we were not ordering alcohol. We had to ask for drink refills and when we asked for to go drinks the guy brought six cups and two tea pitchers and told us we could pour our own. Over the past 30 years I’ve been here several times but I Will Not Return.

FANTASTIC ocean view restaurant! The Josh puppies are light and fluffy and totally worth the trip by themselves! The mahi mahi tacos were absolutely delicious!
