Never renting through a airbnb again!! We drove from Colorado for a family vacation because my family and I wanted a change from the mountains. When we got to Beach Colony we stopped at the desk, they said we should have already gotten a room number and code, we don't need to checkin there. When we got to the room and opened the door the room wasn't cleaned, broken furnitures all over and the mirrors were straight up nasty!! We already drove a day and a half and just needed some rest, my kids were very miserable. I went down very furious to the Front Desk, a gentleman came out, then I started shouted at him because of the conditions of the room. He listened and gave his assistance. He asked what was the room number then explained it's not rented thru the hotel at this point I was still mad because I was tired. He then asked if we wanted to book with them and gave us some options of rooms to look at. I AM SO SORRY FOR SHOUTING AT YOU!! ??♀️??♀️ And thank you Ian, I will never forget your name. You saved my family vacation ?

Very clean hotel, lovely rooms. The entire staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I will definitely be staying here again! Excellent location, great amenities. Price was reasonable and no hidden fees.

We just left BCR and had a wonderful time on our sister trip. The grounds transport you into another world with the hammocks, multiple pools, immaculate grounds, resident cat Oreo strolling around. The staff was absolutely amazing…felt like you have known them your whole life. Helen in Housekeeping is a gem and will make your day. She is a very special lady. Please seek her out if you choose to stay with NCR. We booked through AirBnb but wish we had booked directly with BCR. Our unit was not very clean BUT AGAIN this has no reflection on Beach Colony Resort - we rented our unit through a private owner. Book directly through Chris or Eric at the front desk and have an AMAZING time!

Great Location. The condo that we stayed in was 910. Beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean. Wrap around deck to watch ocean. Definitely recommend. Front desk is so welcoming and friendly. Lots of amenities

The Beach Colony Resort has become our go to getaway. Family friendly atmosphere. Great outdoor amenities include multiple swimming pools, hot tub, lazy river, multiple hammocks and corn hole games, green spaces, comfy lounge chairs, umbrella tables & chairs, showers and sink area, outdoor/indoor lounge~ food~ karaoke area. Indoor amenities also includes indoor swimming pool, hot tub, exercise room, racquetball, sauna, game room, pool tables, laundry room, gift shop, internet sitting area, multiple ground floor guest restrooms. Super friendly Staff. Covered parking included staff attendant. Nice clean rooms. We love everything about Beach Colony Resort!

Was reluctant to book a week here based on some of the reviews but luckily I went by the good reviews and we were not disappointed. I will begin by addressing the bad reviews. Check in and check out was a breeze with no wait, the front desk clerk was very friendly and happy. We never waited long for any elevator. Resort staff are constantly cleaning the property, disinfecting inside of elevators by wiping them down, there was a young gentleman on the first floor constantly sweeping and wiping that area. All the pools were crystal clear and the heated ones were a good temperature for us. We could see workers cleaning pools and hosing things off early every morning. The outdoor furniture looked in new condition. I was grateful to have a garage to park my car in to keep out of the weather and sun, yes you have to take your time when driving in the garage and use the mirrors they have on each corner and be considerate of others. We did not use garage elevators but the stairwells could use some cleaning and attention. We ate lunch at the Cannonballz a couple of times, the food was good, adequate portions and reasonably priced. The attendant like all other staff was very friendly. We had an Ocean Front suite on 18th floor which was very adequate for us with a great view of the ocean, beach and pool areas. The room was modern and clean but oh my there was dust on top of the refrigerator :( the kitchen pans were not the best I went out and bought a new griddle to make breakfast on. We enjoyed the hotel grounds around the pools more than the beach. The hotel and furnishings are not filthy and are delightful to be around and use. We would seriously consider a stay here again if there is another trip to Myrtle Beach in our future.

Nice and friendly environment. The bartender Courtney is hoot!! Definitely can make a good drink!! Rooms could be a little cleaner and the beds a little softer. Hotel is reasonable priced, in a good location with a lot of amenities. Overall B+.

This was a great place for my family!! Five adults and two kids. The pools were great but the beach was even better!!! We used the lazy river a few times…wished it was bigger, but the grandkids enjoyed it! The only real complaints I had was there was no fire or emergency alarm out on the balconies. There was a false alarm going off but we couldn’t hear it. If it was a real fire, we could’ve been in big trouble!!! And the 2nd complaint was the long wait for the elevators. The front desk staff was awesome and friendly. The little store could’ve been better stocked, but it served its purpose! We will be back someday!!!!

We booked our stay at the Beach Colony resort based on a friend who had previously stayed at the resort. The staff were all friendly, informative and courteous. The grounds were well maintained and kept clean and spotless. Our room was clean and we had an awesome view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
