My family and I visited Sharkey's the evening of November 8, 2025. The food was very good, scallops, shrimp and burgers. I would like to thank our server, Ashley, who was above and beyond with our grandchildren. Ashley was patient, professional and funny. My kids and and their children are local and go often. It was my first visit but will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Typical tourist-driven bar food with a great view.

I got the fish sandwich and a beer and paid nearly $45! Beware tip is already included.

Dont believe the bad reviews. People crying about the 18% gratuity or fee for using a card must not have read the multiple signs and the menu that indicates this. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Drinks were excellent. Go there, get food, and enjoy yourself.

Updated response.
Highchairs (like for children?)
I did request a normal short table?
Lastly, my child wasn’t a newborn, but anyways.

If I took everything out of anything.

The Philly still tasted like dog food.
We proceeded with the pricing, because we expected good food for the pricing.
(I love a good Philly)

May I add clean your fryer grease.
Unfortunately your snarky response to our reviews, shows the unprofessionalism, instead of being like dang maybe the cooks had a bad day.

Super excited to try this place, no high chairs (or wasn’t offered one)
$18 for plain Jane Alfredo & children’s hotdogs. The only edible thing on there (BUT, the price was high) for noodles and what tasted like prego sauce.
The hotdogs were crispy.

Lastly, I got the Philly cheese steak.
It tasted like dog food, it was like ground up beef?
My daughter ate the veggies off the sandwich, but wouldn’t touch the meat, (i tried, but after giving my kids a piece, we finished half of it.)

We got FOUR tiny meals, like ridiculous. $77.
They also add auto grat at 18% which is fair, because I’m sure people take the nasty food out on the servers tips.

The food was TERRIBLE. Atrocious.
To add insult to injury it’s $3 credit card fee.

The food is okay and drink prices are reasonable. Be aware they add 18% to the bill for a gratitutity. I'm told there is a sign somewhere stating this but I never saw it.

Excellent atmosphere. You get to look off into the ocean and listen to the waves. The menu selections are good and fair priced… Something for everyone on this menu. People who have had a “bad” experience here may just be hard to please. Always enjoy visiting this place with my fiancée!

Food was mediocre, priced like it should be awesome. A lobster roll the size of 3/4 a hotdogs bun with a skimpy account of lobster salad not and dried out chewy fries was $24. 2 chicken strips (3 of them would have made 1 normal chicken tender) with the same dried out fries was $15. Then we sat for 40 minutes after we finished out food and drinks before we got the check. No wonder the service was so bad, they added 18% gratuity to any sized party, so I guess they weren't too concerned about giving good service. There are way better places to eat at MB

We were the first customers and we were allowed to pick our own seat. Our waiter Jay was wonderful, we had a few questions and he was very helpful. The food was excellent, he had scallops and veggies, I had crab dip. Service was prompt. I would highly recommend if you're ever in Myrtle Beach!

The high priced abomination that this place calls food was absurdly nasty. The service was ok. Our server was polite and kind, but you can tell she didn’t care about her job. The building was very outdated and is in dire need of repairs and a facelift. I don’t recommend coming here. It’s a high priced mess in the costume of a beachfront restaurant. If this place was in pigeon forge or gatlinburg it would have already been shut down.
