AC was not working properly and it was a hot day - very hot on one side of the restaurant. I wanted to leave but my wife vetoed that. Servers tried to do a good job. Food was slow but not horrible. Food was tasty.

I gave it 3 stars cause the food and the staff was great. I went to Shoney's on Kings hwy in Myrtle Beach on 4-18-24, the building was very hot. The bar wasn't wide down, I gotten syrup on my white blouse. My table was sticky so was the floor.

Nostalgiac- a blast from the past when Shoney's were popular as a kid. This one in particular is a great Shoney's worth the try. The staff is friendly, with good ole down home waitstaff. Your drink stays full and special requests can be made for the buffet, like custom eggs and bacon, fresh made french toast stix n pancakes upon request, covid- conscience measures still in effect as far as sanitation, etc. Buffet is $14.99 and delicious or order a philly chz and homemade Onion rings from the menu at 9.99. hope to is helps narrow your choices while vacationing at myrtle b.

This is the most disgusting, nasty restaurant I've been inside at Myrtle Beach. It is run down and deteriorated and the floor didn't look liked it had been swept and mopped in a week. I'll never go there again and don't recommend it to anyone. OSHA should shut this one down.

No staff working the food was horrible.You can't order from the menu.You had to wait in line because there was people at the buffet.Exactly 5 people because there wasn't enough staff We weren't allowed to eat and people were walking out the door thirty dollars for 2 people and we didn't even eat a little bit of nothing

We had to wait to be seated and the place was not crowded. The food on the buffet was cold and some items were out. We didn't have a waitress or waiter but the hostess did a great job of serving my family. My biggest complaint was the sticky dirty floor. Every time I walked the floor stacked to me feet. It looked as if it had not been mopped in a long time and this was at 9:30 in the morning. It was nothing like the Shoneys in Florence SC. I noticed other review that complained of the dirtiness of the place and it seems like management is not concerned. There are many places to eat at in Myrtle Beach and I suggest you find another one until they get it together. Never eating here again ?

We stopped in because we wanted something quick to eat and most restaurants do not open until 2pm. We arrived at noon. The food was awful, cold and had to have been sitting out for a while. Not very many options for a buffet. We barely ate anything. The floors and tables were sticky. We noticed when we were leaving that some of the walls had dirt smears across them. I would never eat at this location again.
