visited simply southern today with my spouse, because we was missing home. amazing place. not the most choices for food but all home cooked , friendly staff, inviting environment, great tasting food and compared to other buffets for the quality, the price is amazing. highly recommend
I recently visited Myrtle Beach SC. I goggle black owned restaurants because I had heard that SC had great soul food. When I goggled up popped Big Mike’s and Simply Southern. I wanted to visit for a real homemade Thanksgiving dinner. Big Mike’s was closed so the next one on the list was Simply Southern. We went and there was a wait list. So we waited. I have given this rate because the food I ordered was not their best work. The fried chicken and BBQ chicken were on point. The corn was mushy, and the mac and cheese were not their. The corn bread was really stiff and no flavor. I have eaten here before, and the food was amazing. But this time, I was shocked that it wasn't. I spent over 15.00. I don't like to waste my money. This time, it was a waste of money for the quality of the food that I'm totally disappointed...
