This place has the potential to be a really good locally-owned breakfast spot, like the go to hole-in-the-wall (in a very good way). However, it's really dirty inside of the restaurant at the bar counter. The floors and baseboards are filthy, and could use a really good scrub and Power wash spray! The meal wasn't bad, not the best, the yellow grits were good and the meal is very affordable for Myrtle Beach area. The water was tap water, not filtered and that had me very concerned, so I just didn't drink it. I somehow mistakenly erased my photos of this meal.
Parking: There's parking in front and back.
Kid-friendliness: If this place was much cleaner, I would say it's okay to bring children in this establishment.

We ran across a great review for Andy's so we stopped. LeAnna was our waitress and did a great job plus the food was amazing and very affordable. So when you get a chance....you'd better stop at Andys...you won't regret it.

The Snak Shak is truly a hidden gem of a place to eat in Myrtle Beach. It is a very small establishment that serves some of the best fresh cooked comfort food on the Grand Strand. In this little bustling hot spot you will find many locals and repeat customers and the great food and friendly staff is the reason why. They have a small breakfast and lunch menu (Fantastic Burgers) but the big attraction are the daily specials. The Chicken Bog may be the best in SC served on Thursdays. Mouth watering southern fried chicken is the feature item on Tuesday. Wednesday is pork chop day and on Friday is the triple fish special- Flounder, Shrimp and Oysters cooked to order. There are also other specials every day as well as some traditional southern side dishes and salads to complete your meal. They have counter seating and only a few tables so get there early. There is plenty of friendly local chatter amongst the customers and Andy and Brian always make you feel very welcome. Andy's Snak Shak is a must try if you are in town.
Andy catered our dinner event for 65 people. He arrived on time, with a smile and set everything up. He stayed for a while to make sure nothing else was needed. It was the first time ever that there were no leftovers. There was plenty. Everything was so delicious!! Everyone was raving about the food and wanted to know who catered it. We will be using him from now on. Can't say anything bad about this business nor the owner.
