Tonight we decided to try snappys on the beach at Lakewood. This is our 8th time at Lakewood and we had never tried it. Fries were good. I ordered a beef hotdog and it was a dark grey on the outside and reddish on the inside and cold. I'm pretty certain it had been sitting somewhere for quite some time. It was not edible. I've actually had to take pepto because I'm not feeling so well. Luckily I did not eat more than a bite. My daughters chicken tenders were dry and old as well. She said she would take them back to the dog. My husband wanted to return the food but I told him to just let it go because the staff were busy trying to close up (45 minutes before they said they closed?). Oh well. Wasted money. Learned lesson that I can share with others so they can avoid this place. On a side note I'd like to point out that the staff were very friendly and attentive when taking our orders. They let us know there were no onion rings and offered me extra fries instead which was very nice.
