Employees were not wearing masks and I heard someone complaining that their ice cream was very hard.

I can't day its the best ice-cream I have ever had, but its good and it's a neat experience. We went late at night and the marshmallows were dried out and tough. Almost like they had been out for several days. 4 star experience but minus one star for marshmallows.

The ice cream was okay, everyone inside wore masks but the employees didn't and were grumpy.

Great ice cream, fun concept!! My kids loved it!! Lots of variety. Very nice staff. Expensive but labor intensive so I think fair. Worth the visit and will be back!

My favorite new ice cream spot! I eat a lot of ice cream. Like, A LOT. A major component of every vacation is to try as many different ice cream shops as possible. I wish I'd tried this one earlier in my stay in Surfside Beach. I would have been back several times. In case you aren't familiar with the concept, you pick the type of ice cream (regular, low fat, soft serve, etc.), the base flavor, and any mix-ins. My husband picked one of the flavor combos on the list. I don't recall the name, but it was mint ice cream with Oreo cookies and other items. It was terrific. The mint flavor was very natural, not overpowering. Yum. For mine, I chose the make-your-own with brownie batter base, pecans, and sprinkles. You get to watch them make it from the very beginning , with the cream and flavor add-in, which they stir up and then put under the nitro. It is like seeing chemistry in action. The smoke pours around the bowl and the worker stirs and stirs until you have a fully customized ice cream. I loved it! The owner was working when we stopped in and was super friendly. Want excellent ice cream and a chance to support a local business? Stop on in and have some tasty bespoke ice cream!

Went there for the first time yesterday, we were the only people there. Got frozen yogurt that tasted like it was soured. Inedible, Threw it away as soon as we got to the car. Called about 7 times to ask if it was supposed to taste that way or if it had gone bad and the girl picked up and hung up and then no answer. Do Not Recommend. I would’ve liked an answer or a refund.

Excellent experience. Fun to watch it made from real cream with goodies added by using liquid nitrogen. My granddaughter loved it and mine was excellent also. Very friendly and accommodating owner

We took our granddaughter for a treat to Sub Zero. She loved watching the owner mix nitro in with the cream to make the ice cream. The portions are huge! She loved it and best of all it really is delicious rich ice cream! A definite winner!!

I had the blackberry cheesecake with rainbow sprinkles. Very good! Great service!

Been there, done that. Ice cream is made to order with liquid nitrogen so it is neat to watch, but mediocre flavor. Of course it was ice cream so I ate it all!

It’s great the kids like picking the flavors and watching the show performed by a master

My wife and I were on a small vacation and had to try this place out. We ended up getting the banana cream pie bowl and it was so so good. The portion size was huge. We split it and still had ice cream leftover. The way they freeze the ice cream right in front of you is pretty cool. I think it is a fun place to try something different, kids would definitely love the show of having them make the ice cream right in front of you.
