I’m Been here for over an hour waiting for our sushi order. Be aware that they fully prioritize to go orders over their seated customers. When I mentioned how long we had been waiting, we also received no understanding in return and were argued with over the exact time we were seated. Won’t be returning to this place.

I love this place. The owner is a good guy who is happy to speak with the customers when he has the time. Great variety of Asian dishes. The Sushi has always been good, every single time I have gone. Many different rolls of varying sizes are available or they’ll make one up custom order. They also make some really good Thai meals that are my favorites of the Asian world. I don’t like them very hot to the taste but still some heat is good. I just tell them how I like it and that’s the way it comes out. I’ve never had to wait for a seat, always sat down right away. The decor has a little bit of that 70’s feel to it, kind of a little outdated but I think that’s what makes this place have some character over all the bland strip mall type restaurants in the area. The parking lot is a little tight for my truck but it’s never been much more than a slight annoyance fitting into a spot. They also have a small bar which is good for me when I’m by myself. Sugami is one of the better Asian restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area. Plus the prices aren’t terrible.

I’ve been coming to Sugami for almost a year now with my husband. We’ve had various dishes, such as Pad Thai, lo mein, and hibachi entrees from here. Additionally, the sushi has always been delicious! The waitresses here do such an amazing job and are so attentive and kind to everyone. The hibachi chefs are really good and consistent as well with their cooking! I really recommend this place to anyone as it’s always consist, waitstaff is incredible, and just everything they have to offer is delicious!

I'm going to try to keep this simple because we were utterly disappointed.
Appetizers: Fried Chicken Wings - 10/10 (so crispy and delicious); Spring Rolls - 10/10 (best I've ever tasted)
Entrees: Mongolian Beef - 0/10 (tasteless, yet super salty - sent it back and got a different dish); Lamb Chops - 0/10 (tasteless with absolutely no seasoning or salt) I feel like whoever cooked it purposely didn't salt the lamb chops because I had stated that the mongolian beef dish was too salty.
