We were excited to eat some good southern cooking. I believe their website says you get homemade cornbread. We never got that. Ribs were not good it was like they said there all day. The brisket wasn’t moist and the shrimp was not very good. Sides were the only good thing they had. Very disappointed.

My husband and I ordered the pig trough. It was really good. The brisket and the ribs were my favorite. The sweet potato fries and the baked beans were really good as well however, the corn was trash. It had no flavor and was to hard. The drinks were great and I loved the option to buy the pineapple glasses. Overall we enjoyed this place.

I was not sure of this restaurant but after dining there I found it a great place to find! Husband had pulled pork roast sandwich and the pork was tender and delicious. I have house salad with crispy chicken and it was tasty and enough to fill your tummy with room for dessert. Give it a try you'll be happy you did!
Sadly none of us were impressed with the food....it was nothing special.

Was immediately greeted, seated and drink orders were taken. The atmosphere was peaceful and cool inside, a big difference from the hustle and bustle of the area. Jack-Henry was our server and he was phenomenal! We had a lot of requests (lol) but he did everything with a smile and with haste. He was still so pleasant and it never seemed like we were a bother to him. He was busy working all over the restaurant! He is very diligent and hard working. The food was great and there were some unique items on the menu. When vacationing in Myrtle beach, some of the restaurants on Kings Hwy are really pricey. But here at Sweet Carolina’s, the price was great for our budgets and everyone at our table took out a to-go box. I will make sure to make this one of my family’s staples when visiting MB!

Both of us had The 15 piece smoked wings for dinner. They were delicious with a crispy outside and tender juicy chicken inside but small for the price. They also had a good selection of wing sauces.
