If you want to come get good drinks at a decent price this is your place. Drinks are great, and the staff is great, but the food is just NOT it. I’ve given this place sooo many chances because I live next door and I really wanted this to be my spot. But every time I’ve tried to eat here I’ve left mad that I spent my money here when a meal from McDonalds would have satisfied me more. Honestly, the menu on the surface looks great. Everything on their menu sounds delicious. But the product that gets put in front of you doesn’t even begin to live up to that. my most recent experience there I ordered a Chicken Caprese Sandwhich And it had would look to be a single grilled chicken tender, cut in half and stuck on a sub roll with one tomato cut in half and a couple shreds of basil. It was honestly pitiful and couldn’t really believe that a kitchen staff prepared that and thought it was acceptable to serve to a paying customer. The only time I have left this place satisfied is when I only came there to drink. I believe this place would be good if I had a kitchen staff that cared.

We all enjoyed our food (burgers, pizza, salad). Big selection of beers. Service was good. We were there when a football playoff game was televised and a lot of bar customers were there to watch it. I suspect this place is usually crowded on the weekends but it was packed the Saturday night we were there. Nothing spectacular about this place but the food and service were good. We'd definitely eat here again. I almost wish I lived in that area; I'd probably be a regular.

Ate out here for the first time on Saturday January 24th 2026 with my parents. Tavern in the Forest is basically like a bar restaurant that also serves pizza and has Happy Hour items from 4-7 Every day of the week! When we parked, it was actually quite busy, and we walked into the restaurant, someone greeted us and told us there was a wait since there was a party going on in the front room. So we put our name on the waitlist and didn't wait as long as anticipated. We were sat at a high top booth. This place has plenty of booths, and tables as well as high tops and 2 bars! Lots of TVs to watch your favorite sports team! For their menu, they have everything from appetizers like pretzels, nachos, fried green beans, potato skins, and philly eggrolls, to entrees like fish and chips, chicken and waffles, to sandwiches, salads, and burgers-- and also pizza! Our server was Kelly. She brought us waters, and we all decided to try the Tavern Punch drink! This drink is also on their Happy Hour menu. The drink was made with grenadine and was very good! We all enjoyed it. We also ordered some appetizers such as the Fried Green Beans, and the Nachos half order. Food and drinks came out in the timely manner. We were given napkins and plates by our server. Appetizers were very good- Fried Green beans were excellent and didn't taste greasy at all! Nachos came with lots of toppings including jalapenos which were all on top. Nacho half order also was a big portion! Chips were fresh and crispy. Kelly made sure that we were happy, and checked on us constantly. For entrees, I got the BBQ Burger M, and my dad also. My mom got a sandwich. Our entrees came with fries- my only feedback would be to ask if the customer wants fries with their meal, never know, may want sauted spinach instead! I was fine with fries though! Again entrees came out in a timely manner, and food was very delicious, and was cooked to temperature. We got a box for half my burger and my mom's sandwich. Oh, and little mix up with the check, but both our waitress and us solved it. They do charge 3% for a credit card, but for the food i think it's worth it! Paid via credit card and left a cash tip. Hope to be back soon to try their other food!

This is our go to place for good reasonable priced food. Everyone is super nice and eager to serve you! They also have the NFL package. When we have friends visiting, we always take them there.We’ve never been disappointed!

The service is awesome and the atmosphere is great, however the food quality is terribly cheap quality. Their club sandwich is all low quantity meats, their chicken in their Caesar salad is gross. It’s textured like canned tuna. Definitely NOT fresh food. I think the owner is getting quite cheap. The prices are too high for the lousy quality of food. It’s experiences like this that make me never want to eat out.

Just moved here October 2025.. close to home highly recommended! Great atmosphere.. locals, friendly atmosphere, lots of TVs .. they get every sporting event, Bruins games !! , bartenders are friendly and service is good.
Still evaluating the menu but burgers are good!

Food was excellent. Our server, Aria, exemplified superior service and all fronts from the greet to the exit. I appreciated how she anticipated our needs without having to ask us. although we don’t live here, there is a strong possibility that we will done here again.

Fun, relaxed atmosphere that's great for teens and adults. Food is wonderful, service is fantastic and fast, and they managed to handle our huge last-minute group with no effort or stress.
