We all enjoyed our food (burgers, pizza, salad). Big selection of beers. Service was good. We were there when a football playoff game was televised and a lot of bar customers were there to watch it. I suspect this place is usually crowded on the weekends but it was packed the Saturday night we were there. Nothing spectacular about this place but the food and service were good. We'd definitely eat here again. I almost wish I lived in that area; I'd probably be a regular.
Ate out here for the first time on Saturday January 24th 2026 with my parents. Tavern in the Forest is basically like a bar restaurant that also serves pizza and has Happy Hour items from 4-7 Every day of the week! When we parked, it was actually quite busy, and we walked into the restaurant, someone greeted us and told us there was a wait since there was a party going on in the front room. This is our go to place for good reasonable priced food. Everyone is super nice and eager to serve you! They also have the NFL package. When we have friends visiting, we always take them there.We’ve never been disappointed!
