The Bowery Reviews
Absolutely loved this stop. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. East to have conversations with and lots of recommendations. Food was excellent. Garlic parm wings were delicious. Wish we found this sooner along our stay. will definitely be recommending. Thank you to the evening staff working 7/2/25 around 9pm. Live music was amazing. wish I could bring them all back to New York with us. thank you all from your Canadian Border New Yorkers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The most immature and rudest staff, owners and bouncers you’ll ever encounter. Known well for banning and calling the cops, security officers putting their hands on customers over conversation not directed towards them to create drama for fun. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PLACE

The Bowery is a longstanding restaurant that offers a fun, low-maintenance atmosphere with an authentic vibe. The establishment features a talented house band that provides enjoyable live music. While the service can be mixed, the good staff members make up for it, and the food, such as the perfect burger, is generally well-received. The restaurant also caters to those who wish to smoke cigars, cigarettes, or vape.
Customers have praised the classic old-school ambiance, with one reviewer describing it as a "dark" space with "no windows or views" but filled with "old folks still smoking at the bar, in old chairs and booths." The memorabilia and old decorations, including the "classic leaded glass lamp shades," are also highlights. The bartenders are noted for their friendliness, and the prices are considered reasonable for the area.
Reviewers have been impressed with the quality of the food, particularly the burgers, which are described as "hand-packed" and "so good." The portions are also generous, and the service is commended, with one customer highlighting the attentiveness of the server, Russell.
