Classic old school bar on the beach. It's been here over 80 years and kind of looks it. It's dark inside. No windows or views. Old folks still smoking at the bar, in old chairs and booths. I think all of this is great. Worth a stop just for the memorabilia and the old decorations. Love the classic leaded glass lamp shades. It's a plus that the bartenders are all pretty friendly and the prices are not bad for this area.
I was really impressed with The Bowery. The service was great and I had one of the best burgers I had ever had. Security was also doing a great job keeping some individuals with questionable behavior under control.
What a great place! We went in originally because of the slogan outside lol. The beer definitely wasn't hot 😂 it was ice cold, the food was delicious n big portions the hamburgers are hand packed n SOOOOO good!! Everything we had was great! Service was awesome too!! Our server was Russel? He was a nice guy n a great beard on his shirt said the "bad server" but he was really great!! The bar side looked cool too will have to experience that next time!
