Wow! We were visiting here and we heard from a couple locals how great this place is, probably the BEST donuts I’ve ever had! They look as good as they taste! Will definitely be back before we leave!

Burnt piles of poo! That's what their apple fritters look like. And they don't taste much better! Steer clear of this place if you value your taste buds!
I brought the family here for breakfast before school. Many tables and open spaces on the store. Plate size donuts displayed proudly behind the counter. I was ready to order the apple fritter or the cinnamon roll. Then I hear from my life, out , we are leaving, back to the car. Befuddled and not understanding we all left the store. Later she explained, roaches were walking over the very donuts we were likely to consume. So beware that the donut man may lack in cleaning protocols and may not be able to control other vermin in the store that can’t be seen. So we went to Krispy Kreme. What a shame that our first visit to donut man will forever be our last.
Been going to Donut Man for years. And this year they changed ownership, and just about everything else. A dozen mixed donuts, $25!!! I've ordered a croissant and been told one morning that, "We don't have any bread". No longer open all night and very simply not what it use to be by any measure.
If you haven't been there yet, you should go. Fresh donuts with ALL the fillings. The prices are great and there's plenty of seating.
Been going to Donut Man for years. Definitely changed since new ownership. I had sticker shock at the price of a dozen doughnuts. $22.00 !!! Pretty outrageous!!! Probably won't be going there again.
Pulled up to the drive through window and asked for a minute to see the menu since I’d never been (no one was behind us). Decided to go with an everything bagel and copped an attitude from the person working the drive through saying they’re out. I asked what they do have and again had the same attitude. So I left. Mind you it’s only 11 am and they’re open till 8.
The best donuts on the strip.Large size, fresh, good variety and not expensive. Paid less than 15.Appreciated they had a drive thru.
Donuts were fantastic! We were very surprised to be the only ones there at 9 am. We had three good sized donuts (the kids each give it 5 stars) and a giant Apple fritter for around $10. The help was friendly, the place was clean. Great experience, would return!
Interesting… Big indoor space right on Kings. Serves fresh made doughnuts, rolls, and pastries. Coffee was good. Our group used their small conference room on Saturday for a meeting. Seemed clean and well attended. Staff was a little busy with work, no issues.

Came here in the mornings for donuts for many years while vacationing with my family, but that won’t be happening anymore. The original owner sold the business, and since then the price of a single donut has skyrocketed. What used to be a dozen for ~$13-15 has now more than doubled. And they only let you buy donuts “individually”. My basic box of a dozen donuts was over $30. I understand inflation is a thing, but this was ridiculous. Such a shame to see a once nice business go downhill like this. It’s no wonder when I went the store was a ghost town. Do not recommend. Save your money and go to Boulineau’s instead.
Place use to be great and I use to highly recommend and would have given more than 5 stars. It appears they went under new ownership and it's definitely not as good. The quality dropped and the prices are way higher. And way more than inflation. Thier increases are more than anyone else. Shame really because this use to be a gem in myrtle
Different experience this year. The apple fritter was amazing, yeasty, and warm. Donut man is always a favorite summer treat. This time it was tasty but there was a definite difference--and I was told there was a new owner. I was disappointed to find out that the best MB donut man donut in the world--the sour cream--was no longer on the menu and red velvet was gone as well...heartbreaking. Prices were always incredibly reasonable but they have increased to Myrtle Beach tourist prices. The building was clean and seemed very empty. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Please bring back some of the original owners' recipes and flavors--they were local favorites.
Donuts were excellent. Customer service was excellent. Just wish they would have more of a coffee selection. Overall it was great
This place was awesome! The donuts were so good and pretty large compared to Dunkin or Krispy. Our cashier was Vonya. She was SO friendly and helpful in describing flavors and helping us decide what we wanted. We will absolutely be going back again when visiting Myrtle Beach.
