The Grumpy Monk Broadway

Wonderful! Great variety amd well executed. I am always nervous about places that offer American and Sushi, but their sushi comes from a different kitchen and although it does not always come with the rest of the meal, is great.

Service could have been better. They wouldn't let us reserve a table ahead of time and when we got there they wouldn't seat us until the whole party was there and instead of putting tables together they put a chair on the end if the table so that the person who sat there had to get up everytime someone had to get by

Bartender Trevon helped me 2 days ago with something with so much kindness. He should be in management teaching employees how to treat people well.

Restaurant is Mediocre and the wait time for the food is terrible. Their water is terrible. Music is also horrible.

Food was good. Not good as in delicious or unique, but yummy enough to eat and certainly good enough for kids. Price was completely reasonable so the rating is based on the value for taste ratio. Service was super slow, which was noticeable since drinks (even water) didn't come until well after food came. Throughout the dinner we ended up having to grab whoever was walking by to bring us items that didn't come. Decorations were nice. Sit outside for a better view.

We didn't have a reservation although it wasn't too crowded at Broadway at the beach when we went. That being said, it was still an hour and a half wait. It wasn't too bad and there was a fire flame thrower show outside the restaurant which helped pass the time.

By far our favorite restaurant in Myrtle! The service is awesome. The menu has such a unique variety and everything is always delicious. Very kid friendly, often live music, great drinks. Highly recommend!

This was the first time I'd eaten there. I ordered a sandwich and it was really really good. If you have a small appetite you might consider sharing. Their salads are also very good and big. I really had no complaints. The atmosphere was good. The service was good and the food was good. It's priced average for the area

Was busy today, and our waiter had a lot of tables to get to. The burgers were really good and we also ordered the 42 oz drink. We had the Blue Lagoon and it wasn't sugary or flavorful. You get to keep the plastic cup and the duck, which is nice. All the burgers were very flavorful and juicy, I recommend any burger that is on the menu.

We visited The Grumpy Monk on a Saturday night in July around 9pm. I know it was a busy night but the restaurant was pretty dirty, and that was disappointing. There were napkins all over the floor in the bathroom hallway right as you walk into the restaurant. We came in anyway and ordered a BLT on Gluten Free bread and a coke. The sandwich was DELICIOUS! The service was GREAT! But the value was a little disappointing too. The sandwich and coke cost us $30.

Our family had the best experience at The Grumpy Monk at Broadway on the Beach! Dawson was excellent - we came back again two days later and requested his section…. He greeted us at our table with the same drinks we had the previous time. Wow. Now that is serving your customer! The food did not disappoint either. Fried pickle chips and the burgers and wings were amazing. We will definitely be back a third time!

Since we entered the woman who was in front received us in a bad way, they didn’t want to take our table, we lasted watching how they attended tables that had arrived after us. Terrible service, I just want to think that it wasn’t because we were Hispanic since those who entered later were received much better
