The food was delicious I ordered the crab cakes with Cesar salad and macaroni and cheese. Please try the lobster roll it was also delicious. My family and I will visit next time around. Our waiter was Christian he was great at doing his job.
I've been here before and never had a problem. Today I went with a friend ordered the French dip my friend ordered. the mahi. 45 minutes later after asking the girl at the bar why our order has not arrived she said they were just getting started on the Mahi. Paid for our drinks and walked out. Watch other people that came in 20 minutes after us and got their meals. Did not even apologize.

I love the Grumpy Monk. The food was great this time but the service lacked a bit for me. We came for an early dinner and it was pretty slow in the restaurant. The server rarely gave us refills on our drinks, but that was my only complaint. I personally like the Grumpy monk location in North Myrtle beach better but the food was still great.

Typical tourist food. If you want a real meal skip this place. Not the worst place ever but something like scallops that I would expect to be fresh were just frozen scallops. Atmosphere out on deck is nice. Honey pecan chicken was the best thing we had but still was nothing special but would not waste time coming back here.

Food was excellent ?? me and my wife had the big ole pretzel and egg rolls and Philly cheese steak and seafood, mac and cheese. Quick and fast and delicious drinks good. Now I'm going to say we all have our bad night's but me and my wife were eating dinner at the bar the woman bar tender need a huge attitude adjustment. I asked her for two waters. And waited a bit she obviously forgot look it happens to the best of us. My wife waited for the bartender to finish her conversation with another customer and asked for the waters again. The bartender neck would have turned any faster it would have snapped as she was rude to my wife saying that we needed to not interrupt her that this was the SECOND TIME WE NEEDED TO STOP BEING RUDE. That was not us at all. Definitely need to be a table buster. And not interact with customers. We were not the only customers that she was being rude too. Eye rolling in all.
