Food was fantastic - service was great. However, the noise level is really loud and not quite what I expected. I'd rather eat and enjoy conversation with my guests and not feel like I'm screaming the whole meal.

This place was great! We are here visiting , I had no clue how interactive the dining experience can be; it was a blast! My daughter and I had such a great night. From when we walked in the door and were greeted by Kenney ( who happened to be on our plane from Nj to here- was great to meet you!) to the few hours we unexpectedly wound up staying… the staff all seem happy and to enjoy their work environment ( awesome job to the management !) this place is what’s missing from the world today- fun, laughing and getting to know the people right next to you … the food and the connection made this an experience one I’ll remember always. Highly recommend !

We had a reservation with our volleyball team. Their two ticket per table policy wasn’t disclosed to us when reserving tables via phone and waitress was inconsiderate while we tried to communicate with parents the ticket issue. We figured it out but only to have our athletes refused serviced. Middle school athletes that had done nothing at all wrong. The manager wouldn’t even allow them to get a photo in the restaurant (before telling us they wouldn’t serve them.) They were willing to serve the parents who were all sitting at another table. Terrible place to support, terrible place to set an example for our kids, and terrible service.

We have always enjoyed visiting The Hangout as a team whenever we are in Myrtle Beach, which is why this recent experience was disappointing. We were informed of a new group policy that prevents splitting checks, which resulted in one person having to cover the entire bill for a large party. For team travel, this creates an unnecessary burden and significantly affects the overall experience. I was also surprised by the automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill without it being mentioned by the server. On a $475 tab, I likely would have tipped more based on the good service we received, but the lack of transparency felt frustrating and somewhat misleading. Gratuity is something many guests prefer to decide themselves, especially when service is strong. While I understand policies are often put in place due to past challenges, these changes unfortunately diminish the customer experience and may drive away returning groups like ours. We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but moving forward we will likely consider other options when traveling with a team. Updating to add that this business overcharged my credit card. Receipt, including added gratity for $475.15. Credit card charge is $491.04. We will definitely not be back.

A fun interactive entertaining experience including good food and live music. Visiting here is an experience for young and old both.
Atmosphere was great, food was mid, but our server Angelica was AMAZING! She attended to our party of 16 with patience, grace and with a smile. I'm definitely requesting her when I come back!

The vibe here is SO FUN! I love bringing people here when they go to myrtle beach with me. The food is pretty great and its so kid friendly. They kids love the drinks and bubbles to play in. During summer they have live music 🎶. Its birthday fun and lots of tvs for sports. Definitely a place to well...hangout. I love their crab 🦀 and my son loves their burgers. Lots of parking in the circle and wheel chair accessible. Don't forget to write your wish on the wish wall.
