Toffino's Italian Bakery Deli Pizzeria

Cannoli cake and cookies were amazing!

I will never again eat at, order from, or recommend Toffino’s ever again! Years ago when I first moved to Myrtle Beach from Chicago, I was happily surprised when I came across Toffino’s, it felt like a little bit of home right here in Myrtle Beach. Over the years, the service and the food quality have gone down, still the food was better than most; I just stopped dinning in. Their traditional Italian bakery made it worth stopping by to pick up a box of assorted pastries, cakes, and cookies, even if the customer service was going downhill. But, after this last experience I will never go back to Toffino’s, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. Unless, I’m asked where someone can go to be insulted and given an attitude.
I just stopped by to pickup a couple box of pastries from their bakery. It’s Saturday morning, cars are in the parking lot, and the door is literally wide open. I stepped inside, walked to the bakery case filled with pastries, and I asked if I could pick out an assortment. I was told that they were not open. I asked if I could just pick a few items that were right there in the case. I have no issue with being told their system cannot process orders before the place opens, which was in about 25 minutes. I did not know that Tofino’s was not open, to the contrary, they looked open and ready for business. What I do take issue with was the way I was spoken to.. I was approached by a dark haired lady who said “you need to leave now.” I followed her to the door, which was still open by the way. I exited as she followed me out, as if I was going to run back in, grab a tray of pastries, and run out the door… lol… Though she stated she was some type of server supervisor, I think she is more suited to be a bouncer at a back alley club, definitely not someone in charge of an type of quality customer experience. I told her that I did not realize they were not open yet, and I understand not being able to ring up a couple boxes of pastries until they’re open, but I did not think that she had to be so rude about it. She simply double down on her rudeness, and said that I did not belong inside, and I had to leave; that I could come back in 30 minutes. To which I obviously responded that I would never go back again. A box of pastries usually runs me anywhere from $45-$65. I can easily spend over $100 just in pastries every time I stop by. Cost is not an issue, you pay for quality. Someone may want to remind those working there that quality is not just quality of food, but quality of service and customer experience. I will never go back.

Best pizza ever...thin crust, sauce is good not herby, fresh toppings like fresh mushrooms not jarred or canned. Just the right amount of cheese to crust ratio. Just the BEST PIZZA!!

I was vacationing in South Myrtle and found this place. Really enjoyed the vibe. It was busy and the people behind the counter were friendly.

They answered all of my questions about the baked goods. Cannolis were excellent, the tiramisu leaned into creamy and tangy, and the biscotti was a good texture and anise heavy. All very good.

They had a deli counter that I did not get to try, but it was well stocked with antipastos, olive tapenade, sun dried tomatoes, and meats. I will be going back to try that.

I ordered a simple cheese pizza for my picky kids and was very impressed. Crust had a cracker exterior and a good chew to it. The red sauce was cooked down and not acidic. I ate more than my kids and would make this my go to for pizza on future vacations.

Truth be told, I read a very complaint heavy review that accused the owners of classism and discrimination. It was so self important that I had to come by to see how wrong they were. I'm grateful for that I did. Toffino's exceeded expectations.

The pizza and pastries are awesome! For salad, pizza, and 4 pastries was 53 bucks. That's a bargain for authentic Italian Food.... 👍

Grew up in NYC and the food, especially the pastries, rivaled many I grew up eating in the city. After 7 years living in NC I could never find italian food that was close to my standard and this place blew me out of the water. Never thought I would find an authentic Italian sub/hoagie anywhere in the south but I did here and it was fantastic!

I spend $26.00 on cookies that had no flavor, no butter taste no chocolate taste, nothing. Unfortunately I did not sample. Don’t buy the cookies.

OMG finally a pizza with flavor!! I am a pizza maker by trade and have owned my own pizzerias I couldn’t find a pizza in this area that even had flavor. I had a slice of pepperoni today and let me tell you it was just amazing. Great job. I will drive the 35 minutes to get this pizza and try some of the delicious looking desserts and bread made on site. Keep doing what you do

I rarely give 5 stars …..these 5 are well earned. The bakery is unbelievable, it rates right up there with any top bakery…BAR NONE.

Staff was rude especially the waitress..We ordered and paid for Alfredo and Italian dressings on the side..we did not receive tgem.Tge stromboli dough was not fully cooked and the inside was super runny.We will not be eating there again.
