The spicy shrimp and honey chicken were amazing! The staff is super friendly and the contemporary feel makes it a great place for a meal with friends or family!

This was our first visit to Tupelo Honey since they expanded out of Asheville. We went in for an early lunch before driving home from our visit to Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed 2 orders of the "Biscuits for a Cause" with milk gravy and one order of the Fried Green Tomatoes. Both were very good but the "drop" biscuits were far from light. We were seated in the side section of the restaurant that lacked charm and atmosphere.

Just Wanna Travel

Maybe this is a tourist thing. The fried green tomatoes were crunchy and greasy. No flavor. The fried pickles and fried okra were also greasy. The chicken poblano soup was more like a clumpy chowder. And my salad came with some sort of weird spicy dressing that was supposed to be a honey dressing, but all I tasted was horseradish. The fried chicken sandwich was also greasy and over fried and didn’t have a lot of flavor. It’s seriously overrated and we will not return.

They have the best shrimp and grits... The chorizo and goat cheese gives it a very creamy texture

We just had the most wonderful breakfast Here at Tupelo Honey. The food couldn’t have been any better and the prices are better than they’ve ever been. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Update 2025.

My how the mighty have fallen.

Very expensive for tiny portions. Dessert from a can. Waited half hour to sit in a 1/2 empty restaurant to then get very bad service.
