The pice of the food seemed good for the amount of food you got but when we received the food it wasn’t what we expected…. The pork was like it was the little tubes that you could get from the grocery store but I think some of them are actually better than what we had gotten the ribs are nasty precooked ones are way better the do give you a lot of them but they were not even good at all. The only thing out of the four of us liked was the fries and mashed potatoes but other than that worst experience will not go back to the place to eat. Workers seemed to be very nice myself I liked how it was set up and decorated

A friend recommended this place after seeing a TikTok video! Looked pretty cool so we checked it out. Atmosphere is amazing with entertainment and comfort. The food is however, terrible. I ordered the pimento cheese and it was disgustedly oily with a odd texture. It was not fresh at all. My friend ordered the Shrimp appetizer and it was just too spicy. I would not return and use caution when ordering consuming food from this place.

Very cute place. Waited almost an hr for our food. Waited entirely too long for alcoholic beverages… which were so strong I couldn’t finish. Food came out extremely cold. Fries cold. Chicken cold. Chicken wings cold. Steamed vegetables were cold. The flavor was there but since it was cold the chicken was also dry. The kids we were with didn’t like the chicken wings either. Burger was good. A litttle too much going on.. but it was good but also cold. Because we waiting for almost an hr I was not about to send the food back and wait another hour… so we ate just enough to make it to the next place. The service could have been much better as well. Our server was talking about how he was about to walk out. I’m assuming because he was the only one there? Was not impressed at all but was super excited to try it because everything looked really good on the menu! We saw one server and one bartender on a weekend night which i thought was weird. Maybe there’s only one guy in the kitchen too and that’s why it took so long?? Overall was not impressed with food or drinks but cute place. Again with waiting so long for food and drinks I was not going to send the food back to wait another hour to get reheated food. Oh The mashed potato’s were good too.

See why this place was empty in town for work mind you I am a chef, I got cheese dip with the cheese on the chips that’s not cheese dip mind you it was cold, then charged be 18% for 1 person, we don’t even do that in the DMV only thing was good was the drink the food taste like it come right from Sysco sauce and all not made from hand. Yea I will not be back to this place work food quality maybe why yall empty

I went in with friends to grab a bite. The server was new so he had no idea what he was doing. Kept asking what we said over and over and still got the order wrong. We ordered drinks mine came with a rotten moldy strawberry in it. I sent it back no apology was given from the manager or serve they sent a new drink which no compensation was given for at all. Order some nachos which came out tasting bitter and nasty. Server was no where to be found to even check on us. The only that we enjoyed was the bang bang shrimp. Don’t know if we would go back especially the fact that after such horrible service they added an automatic 18% gratuity. We took the entrees to go because we did not enjoy anything. HAD TO STILL PAY FOR THE DRINK. $180.79 check with $24 auto tip!

Went for lunch and ordered the Whiskey Roots Mix and Tasty Plate for apps. Didn’t end up ordering anything else because the ribs and chicken came out cold. As a restaurant owner/manager for 15+ years and ServeSafe certified, I can say with confidence that neither the chicken nor ribs were anywhere near the safe temp of 165°F. The owners were in the kitchen but never came out, and the server didn’t offer to reheat the food. Server was nice, but overall this was a huge miss. Unfortunately, I would not come back.

The bartenders are super chill and very involved with all their guest. This is the best place to go to if you’re looking for a comfortable chill spot to kick back with your friends and enjoy a drink. 10 out of 10, highly recommended. 👌🏽

the food was good except it took awhile to come out, service was horrible and i don’t like the idea of an 18% charge whether your paying cash or card. The place also was like a funeral home, there was nobody in there.

Horrible experience. It was like being at a funeral. Service was so slow and the waiter didn't even speak English. Food was crap. Then they add 18% tip on and expect you to pay it. I would not go here!!!!

Whiskey Roota in Myrtle Beach has an amazing atmosphere—definitely feels like a great spot for drinks with friends. Our waitress, Gabby, was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and really added to the experience. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the vibe. The large pretzel tasted like it had been microwaved, the fish was over-fried and tough to chew, and the burger was overcooked. The fries ended up being okay, but overall, the food quality left a lot to be desired.

The burger with shrimp was excellent. Loved the sauce and the toasted bun. The fries were perfect. Huge TV!
