Y'all made my Brother n law's Mom's Birthday the best. She was so happy and enjoyed her Birthday. This was the first Birthday celebration after her twin sister passed away. Our group had a wonderful time! Kate In the bar was awesome and went above and beyond to make our night memorable. And I can't remember the guy cooking our dinner but he interacted with us like a pro. I hope to see them in April. Can't wait to have fun when my sister and I celebrate our Birthdays there in April.
The service is great the view was good but the food is bland and does not have a lot of flavor and prices are high compared to same type of restaurant and most others have better flavor

Came to Myrtle Beach for our annual Anniversary week and decided to check out Yamato's. AMAZING!!! We frequent Hibachi across the country and this folks is one of the best we have visited. The atmosphere was historic, well laid out, and definitely enjoyable. The food was just as amazing and we tried it all Filet, chicken, shrimp, scallops rice and sushi, and of course soup and salad!!! Off the chain Deliciousness!!! Portions were great and the prices were on par plus they do military discounts. If ya'll have not tried this place then you are missing out! We will definitely be back again and again!

Soup tastes like hot dog water smells, salad was ok, server was a little slow with refills, but the sushi was yummy, the food was delicious and the portions were large. We had enough to take home for another meal. It was really good, and I have a feeling we will go back.Parking: Parking is a nightmare. If you have a reservation to eat here, get there early.

Our server, Martha, was so good to our kids. She was patient and kind and made our son feel so special on his birthday. She was also quick to get refills and generally wonderful.The food wasn’t my favorite of the Japanese steakhouses we’ve been too. The soup wasn’t quite as good and the ginger sauce for dipping was a liquidy. However, they serve sherbet afterward with your meal which made it more fun and the atmosphere is beautiful right by the water.

Shrimp and scallops were extremely over cooked and the vegetables were under cooked. Portions were smaller compared to visits in the past. The joke of a manager does nothing to remedy the issues.
